What Fortnite Season Is It?

Fortnite has been one of the biggest titles in gaming for a while now, in no small part due to its constantly changing nature. The game is always experiencing shifts in gameplay and story, keeping it fresh for players, new and old. But, what Season is it now in Fortnite? Let’s find out.

These changes are broken down into Seasons and Chapters. Each new Chapter introduces many huge changes to the game, including major changes to the overall story. Seasons are marking smaller periods within them.

What is the Current Season?

The current Fortnite Season is Chapter 5 Season 3. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 was released on May 27, 2024. Several new weapons, items, and vehicles were added to the game with the new update. The Season’s slogan is: Wrecked.

The Island, now called Helios, features 11 named locations: Classy Courts, Grand Glacier, Lavish Lair, Pleasant Piazza, The Underworld, Grim Gate, Rebel’s Roost, Reckless Railways, Mount Olympus, Brawler’s Battleground, Restored Reels, Sandy Steppes, Nitrodrome, Brutal Beachhead, and Redline Rig.

When will the Current Season End?

This Season will last until August 16, 2024, at 2am ET with Chapter 5 Season 4 probably starting a few days later. This is around three months since the release of Season 1, which lines up with how Fortnite traditionally releases Seasons.
