Steps to fix Error VAN 1067 in Valorant
As mentioned before, there is no one sure way to fix Error VAN 1067 because the source of the problem can vary. However, the usual cause of VAN 1067 is the inconsistency caused by the Trusted Platform Module, or TPM 2.0. Vanguard, Valorant’s protection system, uses TPM 2.0 as an authentication method while detecting players who are trying to cheat. In most cases, players who receive Error VAN 1067 have their TPM 2.0 turned off, meaning that enabling TPM will solve this issue for most. The following is how to turn on TPM 2.0, along with other ways you can try to resolve this issue if TPM is not the cause.
Enable TPM 2.0
Sometimes, during an update to Windows 11, TPM will get switched off, which will cause this issue to appear. To turn the Trusted Platform Module back on, you have to use BIOS, and following the steps below will show you how to do just that.
- Restart your PC and press the F2 or Delete key to enter BIOS.
- Once BIOS starts, click on Settings.
- Under the Security tab, locate the TPM, or Trusted Platform Module, option.
- Change the TPM state to Enabled and save before exiting BIOS.
Update Windows
Another way of fixing VAN 1067 is to install the latest version of Windows 11. This can be done by pressing the Win+I keys to open Settings. In the Windows Update tab, check for updates, if any are available, download and install them.
Restart VGC Service
