The Console Beta test has started in Valorant, and here you will find all the information on how to access it, the potential end date, and more. After years of being a PC exclusive, Riot Games has opted to bring Valorant into the console space. So let’s see what is in store for console players in Valorant Console Beta.
How to Register for Valorant Console Beta
To register for Console Beta, players have to use the official page on the Riot Games site. This is an open beta, meaning that everyone can register, and will receive the key to access a beta testing. However, not all regions will be able to join on day one. In the first round, the beta is available only for players from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Eventually, this will change, and more regions will be added to this list.
When Is Console Beta Ending in Valorant?
Console Beta started on June 14, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. At this time, Riot Games has not mentioned any date as a potential end date for the Console Beta test. Moreover, there is no official information about whether there will be some downtime between the end of Beta testing and the full console release.
Is Cross-Play Supported During the Console Beta test?
Yes, players will be able to enjoy cross-play during the Beta test, but only with other console players. This means that you won’t be able to play on a console with or against PC players. However, if players already have a Valorant account, they will be able to use the same account to join the Console Beta test. Moreover, all progress is shared across platforms, so players can use everything they have unlocked on PC when playing on a console.
Console Beta All Available Maps
Riot Games will be adding maps and game modes as the Console Beta progresses. Currently, there are only four maps that console players can play on, but more are coming. Below is the list of all announced maps and their release dates:
