How to Beat Another Prince Quest in Unicorn Overlord
When you reach the region of Drakenhold in Unicorn Overlord, you’ll soon initiate the Another Prince main story quest. Beginning in Baumratte, you’ll need to survey your troops to ensure you’re amply equipped with able fighters. For starters, you’ll want to be sitting at Level 14 or higher, as this is the level of the quest at hand. To be safe, you may want to aim for 15 or 16 to gain the upper hand in the battle against Anton and his forces.
If you can wipe out at least 50 enemy units, your foes may retreat. Otherwise, you’ll need to face off against Anton yourself. Luckily, the path you choose doesn’t actually affect the course of the story. This means you can opt for whichever route seems a more plausible win. But be warned: Anton and his units are formidable foes, and your expertise regarding matchups and terrain will be put to the test.
In any case, you will be joined by reinforcements at two points during the battle. This does help to lessen the burden on your end, but it’s imperative that you put together the best teams possible to secure a win.
Another Prince Battle Details
During the battle against Anton’s forces, you’ll take on virtually every enemy type at this point in the game. However, there are several standouts. Here’s a look at your primary enemies during Another Prince.
- Witches
- Sellswords
- Wyvern Knights
- Dark Knights
- Arbalists
- Rangers
- Hoplites
Recommended Units for Another Prince Quest
Alain | As a Lord or High Lord, Alain can net you more Valor Points to use the Valor Skills of your allies later on. |
Aubin | Aubin has a lot of staying power in this battle thanks to his Vitalize skill, which refills his Stamina in an instant. That said, he’s a great pick for your frontline unit. |
Auch | Auch’s area-of-effect Valor Skill, Blaze, can damage several enemies at once. Like Aubin, he can take the frontlines with ease. |
Scarlett | As a Healer, Scarlett is an obvious choice for this taxing battle. Of course, you’ll want to place her behind the shield near Amalia to keep her in the ring. |
Hodrick | Much like Aubin, Hodrick can effectively outlast many of your enemies thanks to his high defenses. However, you should place him in an area safe from Witches. |
Rolf | Rolf’s Arrow Rain ability is a lifesaver here, as it allows you to deal damage from a distance. It’s a smart move to place him in the Watchtower to the left of your post to take out incoming enemies. |
Miriam | A Radiant Knight, Miriam boasts exceptional Magickal Defense, making her an effective wall against Witches. Block your enemy’s path by placing her on the bridge to the northwest. |
How to Beat Anton in Unicorn Overlord
If you wind up facing Anton in Unicorn Overlord, then your best bet is to send Alain in as a High Lord. Throughout the battle, however, you’ll want to rely on many of the same fighters for support. To keep Alain’s Stamina up, add Aubin to his unit. Then, have Rolf use his Arrow Rain ability to keep enemies at bay.
Ideally, you’ll want to finish up the fight before Anton calls for reinforcements. As long as Alain is Level 14 or higher, though, you should be able to get the job done after just a few attacks.
