“A Bit Vague…” Nexon Adjusted the Drop Rate for the Grab the Breakthrough Event in The First Descendant
It looks like Nexon heard all the complaints, and they’ve adjusted the drop rate for the Grab the Breakthrough, the most recent controversial event in The First Descendant. While that is pretty good, they are, traditionally, pretty vague about it.
Nexon celebrated the anniversary with a fresh batch of events, both in-game and out of game. They even collaborated with Spotify and added a new black Paint that turned out to be immensely popular with the players. As for out-of-game events, even though the fans are not keen on them, Nexon has the Grab the Breakthrough browser-based event, where you spend tickets to get Anniversary Tokens and, if you are lucky, some special edition limited goodies. However, the fans are not that happy with how the event turned out, saying that bots are ruining everything. It looks like Nexon heard the complaints and revealed that they have adjusted the drop rates for the Grab the Breakthrough Event in The First Descendant.
Nexon Adjusted the Drop Rate for the Grab the Breakthrough Event in The First Descendant
It has been a week since the Grab the Breakthrough went live, and since then, players have voiced their concerns daily about the event’s functioning. And now, Nexon tries to fix things as much as they can. On July 11, they announced that the infamous reset, when the new batch of Acrylics and Artbooks becomes available, will be adjusted.
“To better accommodate the varied participation times of Descendants, drop rates have been adjusted so that rewards are not limited only to those who participate in the event exactly at the reset time.
Please note that the daily limits for physical rewards remain unchanged, and once the set number of rewards is exhausted for the day, they will no longer be obtainable until the next reset.
In addition, due to local laws and regulations, delivery of physical rewards may not be available in certain regions. We ask for your understanding.”
This all sounds pretty good, but we are all a little bit confused about what this exactly means. What are the adjustments specifically? How does it work now? And could we perhaps know which countries are available, as gamers from all over the world are playing TFD?
Players Don’t Know What to Think
As stated, the players are glad that something has changed, but would love a bit more detail. “Thank God they’re finally doing something about this, but what exactly does this entail? Not much information…” said one player on X, and “Such a vague statement. This is the worst possible idea you guys came up with. Just let people buy it if they want to,” added another.
Additionally, players would love to know which regions are unable to get those rewards, so they can know whether to bother at all. “Would you mind sharing a list so we don’t waste time clicking but getting the region rejected?” asked graywarden911.
While we are sure that the players appreciate any improvements when it comes to this event, statements like these are not really doing anything, besides confusing everyone even further. Hopefully, Nexon will provide more details.
