The Finals Season 3 is almost upon us, and if you are looking for the release date and features that will be added, we got you covered. Embark Studios Arena Shooter made a real splash in the FPS community upon its release. Although the player base has seen better days, the developers are still fully supporting the game. Moreover, if something can bring players back to the game, it might be the new season. Especially a season that is themed around a reboot.
The Finals Season 3 Release Date
We finally got a release date for The Finals Season 3 and that is June 13, 2024. It will add more weapons, a new map (Kyoto), new gadgets, and a game mode will be making a comeback – Terminal Attack.
The Finals Season 3 Features
New Map – Kyoto
Confirmed on June 7, the new map coming to the Finals will be Kyoto. Players have noticed Koi fish patterns all over the maps, indicating that a new map will be placed in Japan. Moreover, the location was all but confirmed by the sound file, which was pulled from the game by data miners. There is also an unreleased Samurai skin that was shown in the teaser for the game back in 2023. The speculations proved true. This would be a departure from the modern and neon settings that we are used to in the game. However, this departure into the historical eras might be just the thing to refresh the game.
More Weapons
Along with the new map, each Build will get more weapons in Season 3. The new weapons coming to The Finals are:
- Recurve Bow (weapon for Lights)
- Thermal Bore (gadget for Lights)
- Dual Katanas (melee weapon for Mediums)
- Spear (melee weapon for Heavies)
- Winch Claw (specialization for Heavies)
Miscellaneous Additions
One of the features that is coming in The Finals Season 3 is the addition of the Text Chat feature. This feature has already been added to the game, and it’s now just a matter of time before it will be enabled for public use. If players try to change the “Enter” key in the setting, they will get the message that changing this will override Text Chat binding.
A new type of competitive event is also coming to The Finals. World Tour will pit players against each other but with special rules, regulations, and loadout limitations. And, of course, special rewards (even Multibucks) are waiting for the best.
