Street Fighter 6 Is It Crossplay?
Good news for all our fellow fighters: Street Fighter 6 is crossplay! Yes, you read that right. Regardless of whether you’re brandishing your controller on a PS5, bashing buttons on a PS4, mastering moves on an Xbox Series X|S, or pulling off perfect combos on a PC, we’ll all be in the same digital dojo. Capcom has ensured that, much like a true world warrior, the platform will not limit your challengers. Sadly though, SF6 is not coming to the Switch.
Is Street Fighter 6 Cross Platform?
Following on the heels of the exciting news about crossplay, we have another victory for gaming inclusivity. SF6 is also fully cross platform. This means that not only can we all play together, but we can do so from our chosen platforms, be it a PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. The battleground has never been so accessible, and we’re thrilled about it! Use your favorite characters and win battles against all platforms that oppose you!
Will Street Fighter 6 Have Cross Progression?
But what about cross-progression in SF6, we hear you ask? Well, it’s a little more uncertain on that front. While CapcomID does link all accounts together in a similar way to Battle.Net, it’s not yet clear whether cross progression will be included in Street Fighter 6. We, like many of you, eagerly await further updates on this subject. After all, the prospect of keeping our hard-earned progress across all platforms is a dream worth fighting for!
