Does South Park: Snow Day Have PvP?
While many fans were hoping for the option to face off against other players in South Park: Snow Day, the action-adventure game from THQ Nordic does not feature a PvP game mode. In its place, you can instead team up with friends in online multiplayer co-op or buddy up with CPU teammates on a solo run.
For the most part, those who have been planning to play following the series’ first three entries aren’t surprised by the lack of PvP. However, some have argued that Snow Day could easily have incorporated a competitive mode in the form of something like an all-out snowball fight. Given the snow-covered setting of the new installment, something like this definitely could have worked.
That being said, the fanbase is largely happy with the overall casual feeling of the game, which costs just $30 at launch. One Redditor has even compared its easy-to-digest format to the hit TV series in that “anyone can jump into an episode and enjoy the ride.” Now that Snow Day is available to play across current-gen platforms, players can hop into an all-new adventure of their own in South Park.
