Top 7 Strongest Pals in Palworld

7. Frostallion and Frostallion Noct

Appearing as a Level 50 field boss, Frostallion is one of the last Pals you’re able to catch in Palworld. Both its standard Ice-type form and its Dark-type variant, Frostallion Noct, make powerful partners. Depending on your elemental preferences, however, some might find this Pal’s variant a better pick for combat purposes. This is because the game is full of Neutral-types, which are weak to Dark Pals.

6. Shadowbeak

Shadowbeak is notably difficult to obtain in Palworld, available only in a specific Wildlife Sanctuary or through breeding. However, it’s worth the trouble to catch. This Dark-type Pal has an incredible attack stat and doubly serves as a mount. It’s not as fast as Pals like Jetragon, but beneficial passive skills can make up for this deficit.

5. Necromus and Paladius

Depending on whether you value a Pal’s attack stat or its defense, Necromus and Paladius are pretty much on equal footing. Necromus, a pure Dark-type, is much more attack-oriented, which works well with its highly advantageous elemental typing. On the other hand, Paladius leans heavily towards defense. This makes it exceedingly tough to take down this Neutral-type. Both Pals can also be ridden as mounts, to boot.

4. Jetragon

Jetragon is hands-down the fastest mount available in Palworld. While its attack stat isn’t quite as impressive as its movement speed, it remains one of the strongest Pals, able to unleash wide-range attacks that can easily devastate herds of Pals or opposing groups like the Free Pal Alliance and the Syndicate. Not to mention you can do this while riding the Dragon-type, making it convenient to have on your team.

3. Blazamut

Blazamut is one of the few Pals with a maxed-out attack stat in Palworld. On top of this, it can learn moves like Fire Ball and Ignis Rage, which deal 100+ damage each. This makes the Fire-type Pal an offensive powerhouse in its own right, but it receives an additional buff when mounted, increasing the power of Fire-type attacks.

2. Anubis

Anubis has become something like the face of Palworld. Fittingly, it’s one of the strongest Pals available in the game, sporting a top-yore attack stat. While it can’t be caught until the later stages, you’ll become familiar with its image early on, as Statues of Power are modeled after this pure Ground-type Pal. It hits incredibly hard in combat and is especially handy at your base, boasting proficiency in Handiwork, Transporting, and Mining.

1. Jormuntide and Jormuntide Ignis

Both the standard Water-type Jormuntide and its Fire-type variant, Jormuntide Ignis, sport among the highest attack stats in Palworld. These Pals aren’t available until the late game, but make exceptional team members once you manage to obtain them. Jormuntide appears as a Level 45 field boss, which you’ll need to defeat and catch to breed yourself a Jormuntide Ignis.

While it’s just as strong as Anubis, we’re placing this Pal in the number-one spot thanks to its added help as a Water-based mount.
