Although players can fully customize a character before they start on their journey in Once Human, sometimes you might want to change things. One of the most anticipated games this year has finally landed, and in the rush to play the game, some players might have made cosmetic choices on their characters that they wish to change.
Luckily, Once Human does offer players the option to change their character’s appearance during the game, although at a price. However, if players are in the middle of a season scenario and do not want to lose all the progress, but want to change characters’ aesthetics, there is no other way. How to Change Appearance in Once Human
Sadly, there is no easy or free way to change a player’s appearance in Once Human. Considering this, players should take their time with character creation to create the perfect character for them. However, there is a way to change the character’s appearance in the game, but it costs some real-world money.
To change the character’s cosmetic appearance, players need to buy a Chrysalis Token, from an in-game shop. Players can access the shop tab by pressing “Esc”, and under the Other tab, they can find and purchase Chrysalis Token. One Token costs 480 Crystgin, a premium currency in the game, which is approximately 7 or 8 dollars.
Once players have a Chrysalis Token, they can use it on a Full-Lenght Mirror in their base to change their appearance. However, the Full-Lenght Mirror will have to be built first, and luckily it is one of the default Furniture items. To build a mirror, players have to use 20 Logs, 10 Glass, and find some space in their base. With a Full-Lenght Mirror and a Chrysalis Token players can access character creation and change the appearance of their characters.
Can You Change Gender?
If you have made a mistake when choosing your character’s gender (or Body Type, as is the in-game term), we have some bad news for you. You cannot change your character’s gender in any way. You can either create a new character or wait for the server wipe, after each Season.
