No Rest for the Wicked is an upcoming action-adventure RPG from dynamic duo Moon Studios and Private Division. Set to launch in just two short weeks, the game takes us to a harsh yet visually stunning world overtaken by the Pestilence, a devastating plague that’s returned after nearly 1,000 years. Needless to say, the unholy ailment takes its toll on the land and its people, and it’s up to your to stop it. With a compelling storyline established, is there a way to participate in a demo ahead of launch? Here’s what we know prior to No Rest for the Wicked’s release this April.
Is There a No rest for the Wicked Demo?
At the time of writing, there’s currently no demo for No Rest for the Wicked. We’ve received plenty of gameplay footage ahead of its April 18 launch, which does help to provide hopeful players with an idea of what the upcoming action-adventure RPG has to offer. That said, there’s no way to actually dive into the game’s Pestilence-ridden world. For now, you can wishlist the game on Steam to play when it enters Early Access this month.
Developer Moon Studios and publisher Private Division have promised that No Rest for the Wicked aims to reinvent its genre, delivering stunning visuals and a visceral storyline. The duo has worked on previous projects like Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, lending us some insight into their latest undertaking.
So far, we know that you’ll take on the role of a Cerim, a powerful holy warrior who aims to conquer the Pestilence at any cost. Complete with complex precision-based combat, a dark narrative, online multiplayer game modes, and a striking art style, the game is sure to appeal to fans of Soulslike titles.
