Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest installment of the Mortal Kombat franchise. The incredibly popular MK games have been around since 1992. That makes the series more than 30 years old. A lot can change in that time, and Mortal Kombat has seen its cast of fighters expand more and more with each new title. Mortal Kombat 1 is the twelfth title and features more than 20 available fighters. But, some of them are not available from the get-go and you need to take some extra steps to get them. Let’s see how to get Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 1.
How to Get Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 1
The sorcerer Quan Chi first appeared as a playable character in MK4. In Mortal Kombat 1 he fights using his dark magic to summon skulls to throw at his foes and by opening portals to the Netherrealm to attack from different sides. We had a glimpse of his Fatality, where he summons large glass panes to cut his opponent to pieces. Now, to get Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 1, you have two options.
Early Access From Kombat Pack
If you have the Kombat Pack (either purchased as a standalone or as a part of Premium or Kollector’s Edition), you will have Early Access to Quan Chi from December 14, 2023. If you don’t have it yet, you can get the Kombat Pack for $39.99.
Kombat Pack also grants you access to Omni-Man (already released), Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, and Takahashi Takeda as they get released. If they follow the same route, you may also have early access to these characters with this pack.

Official Release
If you do not have or want the Kombat Pack, Quan Chi will be officially available for everyone to purchase from December 21. 2023. Omni-Man is priced at $7.99, so it is safe to assume that Quan Chi will be similarly priced.
