At the beginning of Chapter 3 Season 2, the team at Epic Games and Fortnite introduced the No-Build or Zero Build mode to the game. The addition did come with some controversy, as many players were fans of the previous build mode, which had subsequently been removed.
However, this change was only temporary. Both modes are now a permanent feature, available to play in the current season of Fortnite, leaving the player base with just a few questions regarding mechanics and longevity.

How Do You Play No-Build Mode in Fortnite?
According to the team at Fortnite, accessing No-Build or Zero Build game mode is easy.
To play No-Build mode, follow these steps:
- Access your game’s lobby.
- Open the Discover page by clicking the Change button above the Play directive.
- Look for Zero Build in Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads playlists.
- Choose your mode.
- Press the Confirm button.
While many players worried that building wouldn’t return to Fortnite after its removal to test the waters of Zero Build, it has since returned. With that being said, the above process can be reversed at a later time if you wish to continue building in Battle Royale mode instead of Fortnite Zero Build.
This mode is available on every platform that can have Fortnite: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox series X and S, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Is Zero Build Mode Leaving Fortnite?

Keep in mind Zero Build is just like regular Fortnite Battle Royale minus the building mechanic. You can still complete quests, take advantage of sprinting, mantling, and other mobility options to reach high ground. The new weapons and start of chapter events still come to this mode.
