What’s New in Fortnite Patch v25.20?
Fortnite x Futurama Collaboration
Bot Futurama and Fortnite fans rejoice because the famous Fry, Bender, and crew have made it into the battle royale. This collab features skins, accessories, emotes, and more. This includes:
- Philip J. Fry outfit and accessories
- Bender Bending Rodríguez outfit and accessories
- Turanga Leela outfit and accessories
- Planet Express ship glider and Zoidberg scuttle emote

Mammoth Pistol
Now this is a hefty gun. Coming in v25.20, the aptly named Mammoth Pistol is loud, proud, and powerful. It fires a single shot of heavy ammo, with devastating damage to boot. You can find the pistol all over the island, even on the ground, in chests, holo-chests, and drones.
Unvaulted Lever Action Shotgun
You read that correctly, the Lever Action is back! This powerful shotgun has been unvaulted and available to find on the island. Just like the Mammoth Pistol, it can be found in all the usual loot pools, including chests, holo-chests, drones, and on the ground.
New Augments
There are two new augments added in Patch v25.20. Pistol Recycle is a nifty boost that gives your pistol shots a 33% chance not to spend any ammo. Scoped Salvo is practically overpowered. It lowers the fire rate of scoped weapons by 15% but increases their damage deal by 15% to compensate. Alongside these new augments, Desparate Reload has been unvaulted, letting you reload faster when you’re reloading an empty clip.
Flare Gun
There’s also a developer’s note regarding Flare Guns. To quote: “When the Firework Flare Gun was vaulted at the end of Summer Escape, the regular Flare Gun stayed vaulted. The Flare Gun remains vaulted in v25.20.” That at least clears up some of the confusion regarding the Flare Gun issue.
