How To Farm Gil Easily in Final Fantasy 16

There are a few methods on how to get easy Gil in Final Fantasy 16. One of the most obvious ways is continually fight monsters in the fields, which will drop money as tiny glittering lights on the ground once the fight is over.

Be sure to change the difficulty of the game to Story Focused beforehand, which will lower enemy HP and damage to make all of the fights easier. The difficulty also gives players access to the Ring of Timely Strikes and the Ring of Timely Evasion to almost mindlessly finish battles.

The Ring of Timely Strikes allows players to execute complex combos by simply pressing the Square button, while the Ring of Timely Evasion allows players to automatically evade attacks. Theses items are key to amassing Gil quickly when doing side quests and the longer, optional Notorious Marks missions.

Doing side quests and Notorious Mark missions will reward with gear and Gil Bugs, which are worth 200 Gil each. Any unwanted gear and the bugs should be sold at shops to get easy money.

There is also the Cait Sith Charm accessory that players can wear that will increase any earned Gil by 25%. Although, the item was only available to players who had pre-ordered Final Fantasy 16. There is currently no other way to earn the item in the game.
