While there have been other games that have already released or coming out in the cozy life sim and farming genre, Fae Farm is definitely worth the purchase for those looking for a new adventure. Although, there are a few things players should know before getting into it.
The game is also being developed and published by Phoenix Labs, who has only shipped the one game Dauntless in 2019. Dauntless is a free-to-play action role-playing game in the style of Monster Hunter, and is much different than Fae Farm.
Nintendo Switch players should also know that the game is only $60 on the system, while PC players have a choice between $40 for the Standard Edition and $60 for the Deluxe Edition. Console players can only get the Deluxe Edition, which comes with two future expansions, so players will be locked in to play more when both come out.
