Now that the highly anticipated title is finally available to play, many are wondering: Who are the romance options in Fae Farm? Stick around for a rundown of all six romance candidates and the best gifts to offer them.
Fae Farm is the latest farming and life sim from Phoenix Labs, which offers up a plethora of genre staples, like crafting and romance, all with an enchanting twist. In the new title, you’ll meet a long list of endearing NPCs as you curate your homestead in Azoria, where you can meet up with friends in multiplayer across Nintendo Switch and PC platforms.
Of Azoria’s locals, six are eligible to romance. However, not all candidates are available to foster relationships with from the start of the game. That said, here’s everything you need to know about each of the marriage candidates in Fae Farm, from how to unlock these characters to each candidate’s favorite gifts.
All Romance Options in Fae Farm
Like other farming and life sims within the genre, Fae Farm offers up a handful of romance options for you to meet, flirt with, and date, all regardless of gender. However, just two of the game’s eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are available from the start: Argyle and Jack. To unlock the remaining candidates, you’ll need to make some progress in Azoria. Here’s a closer look at each character’s requirements and their favorite gifts.

How to Romance in Fae Farm
While Fae Farm allows you to romance Azoria’s eligible bachelors and bachelorettes, forging relationships can be a bit tricky in the beginning stages. Giving gifts is a reliable method to start, and it’s solely available for the game’s romance options. As your bonds grow stronger, you’ll then be given the option to go on dates. Over time, you’ll begin to see your relationships progress into new stages, from strangers to flirting, within the Relationships tab.
Giving Gifts
Each marriage candidate has a different set of gift preferences, which can vary from one day to the next. That said, the best way to begin giving gifts is to speak with the NPCs regularly, as you’ll receive some insight into daily gift options. You can only give each candidate one gift per day, so you should consider your gifts wisely before handing them out. To give an NPC a gift, simple interact with them and choose the Give Gift directive.
Dating
Once you’ve gotten into the habit of giving gifts, you’ll have the option to go on dates with NPCs. This becomes available when you reach the Flirting stage of your relationship, which typically happens over the course of about a week. In this stage, you’ll begin receiving invitations for dates in your mailbox. For reference, you can check your Romance tab to see dates listed in your quest log.
If you’d like to go on a date with an NPC, interact with them and choose the option to attend. After, you’ll receive daily quests for the character you’re dating. Completing these quests will earn you romance points. However, they will reset each day, so you’ll need to continue going on dates to successfully romance an NPC.
