How To Restore Honor in Warzone 2 Resurgence fast

A trio of Call of Duty soldiers fighting an enemy team in Warzone 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s Season 2 update added a mechanic to restore honor. It refers to not allowing your enemy to keep your dog tags after you die. It’s important to understand that the mechanic also benefits you and your allies.

This is vital to every resurgence game, so here’s how to restore honor in Warzone 2.0.

How to Restore Honor in Warzone 2.0 Resurgence Battle Royale

After being killed in a Resurgence game mode, players will drop fallen soldier dog tags. The only way to restore honor in Warzone 2 is to pick up your dog tags. Dog tags don’t give cash every time they’re dropped, so not everyone you kill will drop money for you. The dog tags show who the player was and who killed them.

Players can respawn after being killed as long as at least one of their teammates remains alive. If you can respawn and grab your own dog tag, or another player’s dog tag, you’ll receive rewards and honor.

Rewards for Picking up Fallen Soldier Dog Tags in Warzone 2 Resurgence

When you pick up your own Fallen Soldier Dog Tag or the dog tag of your fallen ally, you’ll receive the following:

  • $1,000 cash
  • A UAV sweep that marks enemies and chests on your tac map
    • Detects enemies within 300 meters and supply boxes within 50 meters.
  • Displays the rarity of supply boxes through color indicators
    • Blue – resupply
    • Green – regular
    • Orange – legendary
  • Restored Honor

Players can only earn cash from an operator’s dog tags the first time that operator has died. If an operator dies more than once, their dog tags will only allow the rewards of the UAV, Restored Honor, and supply box Pings.

Fastest way to Restore Honor in Call of Duty Resurgence Battle Royale

An easy method to Restore Honor is just to land at the spot you died at, quickly run to your body, and collect your Dog Tags. You can do this in less than a minute after returning to the battle royale, so we recommend always landing at the same spot you died in.

This is also a great way to catch your opponent unaware since they’ll most likely have forgotten you if they’re still around, and the UAV can show you exactly where they went.

If your teammate has died, be sure to pick up their Dog Tags immediately, so you can restore their honor and quickly find out who killed them. This way, you can bring your stats up without much effort.

Why Should I Collect Dog Tags in Call of Duty Resurgence?

You aren’t forced to pick up Fallen Soldier Dog Tags, but it is part of the Path of the Ronin event in Warzone 2. Also, knowing where supply drops are can help you get loaded up quickly when trying to get a new loadout, since your weapons may still be around.
