How To Complete Redacted Faction Missions in DMZ Season 3

Season three of Warzone 2 introduces a new faction to the extraction-style DMZ mode. The [REDACTED] faction, shrouded in mystery, offers challenging new missions for players to complete.

These missions will guide players through the latest features of DMZ in the season three update, including the Secure Supplies Contract and upgraded Backpacks.

Here’s how to complete all redacted faction missions in DMZ Season 3.

All Redacted Faction Missions in DMZ and How To Complete Them

Here are all the Redacted Faction Missions in DMZ separated into the relevant tiers, with information on how to complete them.

Tier four and five missions will be added in a mid-season update.

DMZ Redacted Tier One missions

Upgraded Arsenal

Reward: 5,000 XP and the Crane Control Room Key.

To commence the Redacted faction missions, you must adopt a covert approach. The Upgraded Arsenal task necessitates locating a workbench where you must affix a suppressor to a firearm. Afterward, you must eliminate nine AQ or Cartel soldiers with a suppressed weapon and extract from the deployment while carrying two suppressed weapons.


Reward: RAAL MG Contraband weapon and 5,000 XP.

To complete this mission, it is essential to have adequate space in your backpack. You need to fill it with an Electric Drill, a Gas Can, and a Golden Skull before trading it for a Secure Backpack at a Buy Station marked on the map.

Cartel Investigation

Reward: Extra XP and a Double XP Token

Upon deployment into Al Mazrah, the objective is to locate the Cartel in Hafid Port, eliminate five of their soldiers, and extract two Large Contraband Packages from Cartel-occupied territory.

Unstoppable Force

Get a Secure Supplies Contract from the green contracts on the map and quickly find three Supply Boxes to complete the mission within two minutes and 30 seconds.

Calling Card

Reward: 5,000 XP and the X12 Contraband Handgun

To complete this tier one mission, destroy three vehicles using any of the two trains on Al Mazrah. Find a vehicle, park it on the tracks, and watch it explode.

Zero Tolerance

Complete five tier one Redacted missions to unlock the final mission. Equip a Tactical Camera and mark a Cartel member in the menu. Head to the Sattiq Cave Dead Drop, get the Cartel Recon Report, and exfil to complete the mission.

DMZ Redacted Tier Two missions

In Good Health And Spirits

The first tier two Redacted mission needs a Revive Pistol. You can find one in the field or Barter for one. Revive an enemy with it to complete the mission.

Smoking Gun

Reward: XP and the Sattiq Poppy Farm Key

To complete this Redacted faction mission, you must clear the air traffic control tower at Al Mazrah International, the city post office, and the U.S. Embassy to acquire three keys.

Reconnaissance By Fire

Reward: Contraband Kastov 762.

Use the Kastov 762 to eliminate AQ and Cartel enemies at varying ranges for this faction mission. You’ll need seven kills with three gun sights: DF105 Reflex Sight, VLK 4.0 Optic, and DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic.

Dark Water

Equip a rebreather for the underwater mission to the “eastern-most sunken ship” in E8 on the map to retrieve the Cartel Warehouse Key. Use the key to infiltrate the Cartel Warehouse in Hafid Port and acquire the Las Almas Laptop on the shelves in the corner. Extract to complete the mission.

Flight Risk

Reward: 7,500 XP and a Double Weapon XP Token.

To complete Flight Risk, find Heavy Chopper Fuel and refuel the Heavy Chopper. Be ready to fight your way off of Al Mazrah. Once fueled, fly to the edge of the map to complete your exfil.


Reward: Contraband TAQ-V Battle Rifle.

Infiltrate Al Mazrah solo, pick up a Personal Exfil at a Buy Station, and then exfil with another player via your Personal Exfil.

Left High And Dry

Complete five tier two Redacted missions to unlock the next mission, which requires obtaining a Skeleton Key on any of the DMZ maps. Head to Al Mazrah and use the Skeleton Key to enter a specific building in Akhdar Village, located in the northwest center. Retrieve the Dossier and exfil out to complete the mission.

DMZ Redacted Tier Three missions

Friendly Fire

For the first tier three mission, eliminate the Pyro Commander and three guards using fire-based weapons like Molotovs or explosive barrels.

Gear Up

Reward: City Hall Hideout Key and 10,000 XP.

Fully equip three Active Duty operators to complete Gear Up. Equip a large backpack, a 3-Plate Carrier, a Durable Gas Mask, a Self Revive, and any Killstreak.

Double Cross

Reward: Research Center Room Key and XP.

Head to Ashika Island, find the Bombmaker and get his Crossbow for this mission. Take the Crossbow to any Dead Drop, drop it, and exfil out.

Rain And Hellfire

Reward: Contraband Taq-V and 10,000 XP.

Board a Heavy Chopper for this Redacted mission and kill 5 Cartel or Al Qatala soldiers with Launchers, then kill an Operator or Juggernaut, and blow up two Vehicles.

One Shot, One Kill

Reward: Receive a unique emblem and XP.

Board the train, fight towards the safe, drill it, and retrieve the Train Manifest. Extract it with a Secure Backpack, take it to Ashika Island, and trade it for an MCPR-300 Sniper Rifle at a Buy Station.

Fair Fight

Reward: Double XP Token

Acquire an enemy’s weapon by completing a Hunt mission, then use it to take down the Scavenger and earn a Double XP Token. It’s recommended to do this mission with a team.


Reward: Shadow Warrior Operator skin and 20,000 XP.

Complete five of the previous tier three missions before. Zipline up one of the taller highrises south of Al Mazrah City and find the Sniper Team’s Note under the stairwell. Read the note, pick up the tracking devices at Al Bagra Fortress Dead Drop, and plant them at three bunkers.
