In an interview with Game Informer earlier this month, director Hideaki Itsuno revealed that the campaign for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is about as long as that of its predecessor. While some lucky players have had the chance to dive into the game ahead of its launch next week, none can say exactly how long it might take to beat the main story.
That said, we can turn to HowLongToBeat for a rough estimate. The site polls avid gamers to measure average play times, so it’s a reliable tool in determining playthrough length. Looking at the average main story runs for Dragon’s Dogma, we can assume it will take roughly 37 hours to beat the second entry’s campaign.
How Long to Reach Completionist
In the same vein, we can’t say just yet how long it will take to reach completionist. However, Itsuno’s comments can lend us some insight on the matter.
