During the beta phase of Diablo IV, players will have the opportunity to experience a substantial portion of the RPG gameplay. However, it’s important to note that the progress made in the beta will not carry over to the full release. Despite this, reasons exist to enjoy the Diablo IV beta, including the chance to obtain an exclusive cosmetic item.
These cosmetic items will be available to players who participated in the beta, even in the full release of Diablo IV. In the beta, players have the chance to acquire a backpack pet cosmetic known as the beta Wolf Pup. This adorable little pet sits in an intricately designed bed that your character carries on their back. To unlock this pet, players must reach level 20 during any of the betas.
How To Get Wolf Pup Backpack in Diablo IV
Although the level cap for all five classes in the beta is level 25, players only need to reach level 20 with one class to obtain the Wolf Pup pet. While this is still a challenging task, especially considering the limited duration of the beta, you don’t need to level up multiple characters to get the Wolf Pup item. Once you unlock the Wolf Pup, you will be able to equip it to any character, even in the full release. It is also not a pre-order bonus.
Can You Get Wolf Pup Backpack in Diablo IV After the Beta?
It is highly unlikely that you can get the Wolf Pup cosmetic item in Diablo IV if you did not already do so during the beta. That means if you missed out on playing the beta and reaching level 20, you’ll be unable to get the Wolf Pup like me. While I’m sad, I’m sure Diablo IV will have loads of cool cosmetic items to unlock and equip.
