Do you have a transmog in mind for Diablo IV but can’t find how to do it? Or looking to remove a transmog that you don’t like? This guide has you covered on all fronts.
Customizing my character has always been one of my favorite activities in gaming, and I am thrilled with Diablo IV’s character customization. It offers a robust character creator, but also various armor and gear to find and equip that I enjoy showing off to other players.
This armor and gear can also be transmogged, allowing you to wear whatever you want but not be tied to an armor’s particular benefits and buffs. However, transmogging isn’t as easy as clicking a button, and you must unlock it first. Keep reading to learn how to transmog in Diablo IV.
How To Use Transmog in Diablo IV
Transmog becomes accessible to players after completing the Prologue and reaching the location of Kyovashad. At this point, you can visit the Blacksmith and wardrobe in town. Keep an eye out for items that have the Unlocks new look on salvage attribute, as these are the ones that can be salvaged and used for Transmog purposes. It’s important to note that not all items you acquire throughout the game can be salvaged and utilized for Transmog. Here is how to transmog items in Diablo IV.
- Visit the Blacksmith to salvage your items.
- Choose either All Items or specific items to salvage.
- Go to your Wardrobe.
- At the start, there are five Ensemble Slots available. More are unlockable with Gold.
- In the Ensemble Slots, you can customize Armor (Helm, Chest, Gloves, Pants, Boots) and Item (Weapons) with variant looks.
- Select your desired look.
- Click Confirm Look.
Can You Remove Transmogs in Diablo IV?
If you are unhappy with your transmog look, there is an easy way to disable your Transmog without the need to visit a Wardrobe. This allows you to revert back to your original appearance from anywhere. Here is how to disable transmogs in Diablo IV.
- Open your Inventory.
- Select the Armor to remove.
- Find the Transmog Slot.
- Click Show/Hide Transmog.
What Are Transmogs in Diablo IV?
The transmog system works at the wardrobe, located by the wardrobe icon in the Kyovashad inn. This lets you save a piece of gear and change the pigment. The blacksmith, marked by the anvil icon, is where you save gear pieces. You can also save an outfit to quickly change your character’s appearance.
