The dungeon crawling franchise has returned with Diablo IV, though players do not have to fight the armies of Hell alone. The game does support online multiplayer, and contains its own friends list that players may have to fill if this is your first game from Blizzard Entertainment. How Can You Add Friends in Diablo 4?
To be able to play with friends in the same Diablo 4 game, players will have to add them to their friends list before they can be invited. To add friends, players will have to first open the Game Menu and move over to the Social tab.
Then players will have to select the Add a Friend option, enter the BattleTag or email address of your friend’s Battle.net account, and select Send Request. Considering the game will be launching across multiple platforms, fiends can be invited from any platform since it supports crossplay. Players can also send friend invites to others listed in the Local Players tab of the Social menu.
Once your friend accepts the invite, you can select their name from the friends list and choose Invite to Party to have them join your party. You can also choose Request to Join Party to join their game without an invite depending on their privacy settings.
How Many Players Can Be in A Party?
A party in Diablo 4 can consist of up to four people at one time. So, players can invite up to three other friends to join their game instead of playing solo. There are also World Events that can hold up to 12 players in the activity, but consists of multiple parties that are temporary while the event is ongoing.
