How to play Surf?

Being that CS2, like its predecessor CS:GO, doesn’t have a dedicated Surf mode, you can only play these maps on custom servers made by the community. To play Surf in CS2 you will need to find a Surf server and join it. You can do that from the game itself by clicking on the Internet icon in the Play menu. There you can type or copy server names, and IP numbers to find specific Surf servers or maps. Alternatively, some sites that host servers for CS2 also offer an option to launch Surf maps in-game so you do not have to bother with IPs or map names.

Where to find the best Surf servers for CS2?

Some external sites like CyberShoke and Xplay are your best choices for Surf maps. They offer a great variety of maps sorted by skill level. You can browse servers by Location so you can play on servers that are closer to you and have lower ping. That way, you can allow yourself a smoother in-game experience. No matter what, playing Surf mode in CS2 can be a nice, relaxing experience during downtime between ranked matches.
