Being one of the most popular maps in Counter-Strike’s history, Mirage holds a special place in the community. It is the only map that was played in every Major ever. Mirage was a place of epic struggles and even more famous clutches. We will never forget coldzera’s famous no-scope jump shot or cadiaN’s insane 1v4 clutch that won him a Pro League. Mirage’s simple layout offers equal standing for both sides. That being said, some well-placed smokes can give you a significant advantage. For example, smoking Sniper’s Nest is a must if your team is planning to move through Mid. With that in mind, here are the best smoke lineups on Mirage in CS2, so you can easily take control of the map from your opponents.
Mirage Smoke lineups for T side
These are some of the best smoke lineups on Mirage in CS2. We will show you how to smoke A and B sites, as well as Mid.
A Bomb Site Smokes
These smokes will help you take A site easily. To start, stand next to the fence on T spawn.
Aim at the middle of the left wall and jump-throw.
This will land in front of CT spawn and obscure vision from Ticket.
Next, stand on the first step that leads to the T Roof.
Aim between a wooden beam and the building wall. A left-click throw will land a smoke on the Stairs.
Smoke on stairs is a great way to shut down half of A site. This will cover Sandwich along with Stairs.
To smoke Jungle you will need to stand at the center of a middle beam on T Roof.
Aim at the middle left side of a pyramid across from you and left-click throw.
This smoke will land in front of the connector obscuring vision from Jungle.
Smokes for Mid
These smokes will help you take control of the middle of the map. For the first smoke stand in the corner right next to T spawn.
Aiming at the middle of the tapestry jump-throw to smoke the Connector.
Smoke will land inside of the Connector.
Next smoke is a bit tricky and it will take you a few tries to get it right, so practising this one is advisable. To do this smoke stand next to the trash can on T spawn.
Aim next to the top right corner of the balcony door. Hold the “D” button and as you start to drift slowly to the left jump throw.
This smoke will land and fill the entire Sniper’s Nest, making the position useless to your opponents.
For the next one, you will need to stand on the trash can in T Spawn.
Aim at the top right part of the antenna to the right, and left-click throw.
Smoke will land on the Catwalk and obscure vision from Sniper Nest so you can safely cross to Mid-boxes.
B Bomb Site Smokes
These smokes will help you close down the B Site. To start, go to the corner next to the House in Back Alley.
Aim at the top central corner of the tower in front of you, and jump-throw.
This will land a smoke in front of the Window on B site.
From the same position, aim for the center of the second window on the right side. You will need to jump-throw again.
This smoke lands in front of the Door that leads to the Market.
To cut off the Bench on the B site, stand next to the beam above the Underpass.
Aim next to the first ridge of the tower and left-click throw.
This smoke fills the space between Bench and Van on the B Site.
Mirage Smoke lineups for CT side
These smoke lineups will help you stop T rushes on sites and hopefully buy your teammates info and time to rotate.
A Site Smokes
To smoke Ramp from the Ticket stand in the corner near Trash.
Aim at the small square above the boxes and throw.
Smoke will land on the Ramp making it very dangerous for T players to push through.
You can also smoke Ramp from Ninja.
Standing in the corner, aim at the top-right corner of the building opposite to you and throw.
Smoke will land and fill the top of the Ramp.
Standing in the corner of Shadows will give you a good position to smoke off Palace.
Aim slightly above the bottom left corner of the platform opening and throw.
This smoke will cover the exit from the palace for you.
B Site Smokes
On the B Site, stand next to the green trash can as you exit the Market.
Aim at the canvas covering the corner of B site, at the bottom part of the lighter shadow.
Once thrown this smoke will land in the doorway in the middle of B Apartments, making it more difficult for T side players to rush B.
