Being one of the most popular shooters of all time, Counters-Strike 2 has a massive player base. And getting good at the game can mean that you will have to take some time to practice and hone your skills. One of the best ways to do this is in Practice mode and using console commands. Useful console commands in CS2
To be able to use console commands in CS2 you will need to be able to access the console. Make sure that in your in-game settings under the Game tab in Enable Developer Console (`) Yes is selected. This will allow you to use the ‘`‘ key to access the console during your games. In the following sections, we’ll present useful commands that you can use while playing with others. These are then followed by commands for practising with bots or by yourself.
Best CS2 information console commands
- cl_show fps 1 – will display live FPS counter. You can also replace the number 1 with 2, 3, 4 or 5 to show more information
- fps_max 0 – removes any FPS limit, you can replace 0 with any number to set a cap on FPS
- cq_netgraph 1 – will display in the top right corner latency information
- bind (key) (+action) – will bind a specific key to a specific action. For example: bind ‘Ctrl +jump’ to bind jump to Ctrl key
- voice_scale 0.1 – you can replace the number with any number from 0 to 1 to set the volume of your teammates in the voice chat
- quit – will shut down CS2 and return you to the desktop
- disconnect – will disconnect you from your current match

- sv_cheats 1 – will allow you to use cheat commands in private matches
- sv_grenade_trajectory – will display the grenade’s path
- sv_rethrow_last_grenade – will rethrow the last thrown grenade
- mp_roundtime 60 – will set the round timer to 60 minutes
- mp_restartgame 1 – will restart the match
- mp_respawn_on_death_ct 1– instant respawn on CT side
- mp_respawn_on_death_t 1 – instant respawn on the T side
- mp_buytime 30000 – will increase buy timer to 30000
- mp_buy_anywhere 1 – will allow you to buy anywhere on the map
- mp_maxmoney 99999 – will set max money to 99999
- mp_startmoney 99999 – will give 99999 money at the start of a round
- noclip – will allow you to fly through the map
- god – makes you immune to damage
- kill – kills your character instantly
Bot console commands in CS2
- bot_add – will add bots to the game
- bot_add_ct – will add bot to the CT side
- bot_add_t -will add bot to the T side
- bot_kick – will kill all bots in the game
