The Goblin Camp is a major area in Baldur’s Gate 3 that cannot be ignored. It is a huge location that requires a little more than walking to it to access it. It’s pivotal to the major story beats in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3, and this guide will show you how to get there in one piece.
How To Travel to The Goblin Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Goblin Camp is located northwest of the Blighted Village, which is in the center of the overworld map in Act 1. The Camp’s entry coordinates on your minimap are -X:103 Y:391. The camp is heavily guarded, and players will not exactly be able to walk right in. However, there are a few methods to enter the Goblin Camp.
Passing through the Blighted Village
The first obstacle to getting to the Goblin Camp is getting through their forward position in the Blighted Village. Players can talk their way into the camp by approaching the guards at the main entrance following the bridge to Blighted Village. You can pay your way through or use your tadpole to connect to the guard. This is more than enough to convince them to let you enter the village. Alternatively, you can opt to attack them and fight the whole village.
How to access the Goblin Camp
Next, continue west to another outpost and then north over another bridge to the Goblin Camp proper. At the outpost, you will be accosted by another goblin guard. Once in dialogue, players can convince the guard to let them through by reading the goblin’s mind and then selecting the dialogue option that you are Minthara’s Messenger. This is the easiest method since players can walk around freely without getting into fights. You can once again use the tadpole or bribe your way through. However, the option to attack them as well is also on the table, if that’s your preference.
Sneaking into the camp by using stealth on the bridge and following the path is also an option, but players will have to continue using stealth the whole time while they are in the camp. Having Astarion’s or another Rogue’s sneak attack ability is also a must to easily take out guards that stand in your way.

Once you’re in the Goblin Camp, their disposition depends on your previous choices. So if you have fought every outpost along the way, the goblins will be hostile towards your party.
