Depending on which character’s storyline you’re currently working through, the process will differ a bit. However, it remains relatively straightforward, as you’ll just need to obtain character-specific items. Here’s how to upgrade your inventory and carry everything you need in Alan Wake 2.
How to Upgrade Your Inventory in Alan Wake 2
To get more inventory slots in Alan Wake 2, you’ll need to get your hands on character-specific upgrades. For Alan, this means finding Words of Power. Specifically, you’ll need to locate Words of Stuff to gain +5 item slots in your inventory. While two of these collectibles can be found in the game, just one will grant you more slots.
On the other hand, Saga will need satchel items to attain the same +5 buff, with three upgrades altogether. You can also upgrade the FBI Agent’s total charm slots, which differ from item slots.
