How to Collect Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite
The end-of-season quests are here, and one of them revolves around gathering special materials. Read on to learn how to collect Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite.
Fortnite is a massively popular battle royale shooter, developed and published by Epic Games. Like many online multiplayer games of today, new Chapters and Seasons are periodically introduced, to refresh the content and add new features. We are near the end of Season 1 of Chapter 5, and soon we will see Season 2. Everything points towards Season 2 being Greek mythology-themed, especially since the new quest-giver NPC is named Odyssey, and you have to collect tiles to complete the mosaic of a three-headed dog. On the topic of Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite, let’s see how to collect them to finish the quest.
How to Collect Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite
There are three ways of collecting Mosaic Tiles, which look like small, turquoise tiles. You get them by:
- Damaging opponents
- Searching containers (like Chests)
- Breaking structures (preferably ones made of stone, like walls)
Tiles will drop to the ground, and you can just approach them and press the prompted button to pick them up. Or, you can just run over them and that will automatically collect the tiles.
How Many Mosaic Tiles Do You Need?
You need Mosaic Tiles to complete Odyssey Bonus Goals, the last group of quests in Chapter 5 Season 1. Collecting a certain amount of Tiles will give you bonus XP, and the final stage of the quest will reward you with a cool Back Bling.
- Collect 25 Mosaic Tiles – 10,000 XP
- Collect 50 Mosaic Tiles – 10,000 XP
- Collect 100 Mosaic Tiles – 10,000 XP
- Collect 200 Mosaic Tiles – 10,000 XP
- Collect 300 Mosaic Tiles – Grim Emblem Back Bling
Don’t worry, your progress does not reset for every stage of this quest. You have to collect 300 Mosaic Tiles in total, not 675.
