When you’re just starting out in My Time at Sandrock, you don’t have very many inventory slots to work with. As you collect crafting materials and other items while exploring the landscape, you’ll quickly run out of usable space. You can opt to abandon items that you don’t need to free up some slots, but you may not want to part ways with more valuable materials. Fortunately, there’s a relatively quick fix available early on in the game: Adding backpack slots. As long as you have enough Gols on hand, you can purchase as many slots as you need. Here’s how to do it.
How to Increase Backpack Inventory in My Time at Sandrock
To add more slots to your backpack inventory in My Time at Sandrock, open your bag and navigate to the very last space marked with a plus sign. This isn’t a usable slot. However, you can click on it to purchase additional inventory slots, as showcased in the above images. Just select the number you want to add. In the early game, each slot will cost you just 10 Gols. This is a great deal for more space, so you’ll want to make this investment if you’re just starting out in the game.
That said, the price will increase as you purchase more inventory space. This is generally determined by how many rows you’ve bought. Costs can jump from 10 to 100 Gols, maxing out at 1,000. Because of this, you’ll want to stick to just one additional row until you’ve accrued enough funds to purchase more space. This should be enough to get by in the meantime.
