Having trouble finding the Valley of Whispers in My Time at Sandrock? You’re not alone. We’ll go over the directions to help you find this location and pocket all sorts of valuable materials and resources.
As you settle into your new job as a Builder in My Time at Sandrock, you’ll need to set time aside to gather materials that can be used to rebuild the town. While resources can be found just about anywhere in the community and the surrounding landscape, some materials are located in the outskirts of town. The Valley of Whispers is just one of these areas, where you’ll find useful resources like aluminum scrap. However, reaching this location can pose a problem if you’re unsure where to look. Here’s a walkthrough of the path leading to this obscure area, where valuable resources are plentiful.
How Do You Get to the Valley of Whispers in My Time at Sandrock?
If you’re looking to collect a variety of useful crafting materials in My Time at Sandrock, then you’ll want to head over to the Valley of Whispers. Fortunately, you can reach this area in a few simple steps, starting out from your homestead. Just head outside your workshop and turn right to set out on your journey.
Follow the railroad here out east. After a while, you’ll come up on a bridge. Instead of crossing, take another right. You’ll want to keep to the cliffside to head in the right direction. Just mind the Rockyenaroll in the area, as these enemies are fiercely territorial and they will chase you down if you disturb them. You’ll find these creatures at levels of 28 and higher, so I don’t recommend fighting them off unless your own level is equivalent.
- Build Your Workshop: Use an intricate set of machines to process materials and produce parts of huge structures before assembling them piece by piece to help Sandrock flourish. Create hundreds of unique items at the worktable to decorate your homestead, give gifts to Sandrock’s residents, or assist with community requests.
- Explore the Open World: Explore vast deserts surrounding the city-state of Sandrock. Dive into ruins to dig for Old World relics, seek out materials in hard-to-reach locations, or spend time relaxing in Sandrock with your neighbors.
- Extensive Stories for NPCS: Experience a detailed story complete with hundreds of side quests and over 30 all-new characters. Spend time getting to know Sandrock’s residents, uncovering backstories, and making meaningful connections along the way, including romance and the option to get married and have children!
- New Combat: Quickly shift between melee combat and third-person shooting mechanics in dynamic action battles. Use the new weapons and defense break mechanic to your tactical advantage or boost your stats to simply smash through battles. Face a wide range of enemies in dungeons and experience a realistic and ever-changing desert environment.
- Mini-Games and More: Sand running, gun fighting, sand fishing, holiday events, and many more, allow you and local residents to stay entertained in the desert town. Use your workshop’s profits to turn the empty prairie into farmable land. Grow crops for extra cash or transform them into delicious dishes.
Following this path, you’ll quickly come up on an arch. Head on through and keep on the path downward. You’ll then need to take a left straight into the Valley. If you have a Protective Suit, then I suggest putting it on before you go any further.
Rockyenaroll aren’t the only monsters that call this area home. As you search for resources, keep an eye out for any nearby enemies. On top of the materials found strewn about the ground, you should also open chests break any crates you see here. These are the source of random loot drops, which are often as valuable as the visible resources in the area.
