You’ll need to up your defenses and maximize your damage output with clothing upgrades to better your chances of taking down these foes. Here’s how it’s done.
How to Upgrade Clothes in My Time at Sandrock
In order to upgrade clothing in My Time at Sandrock, you’ll first need to get your hands on a refiner. This item can’t be purchased in the game, so you’ll need to build one from scratch at the Assembly Station. However, you won’t be able to access its blueprints in the beginning stages of the game. You’ll first need to hand eight Data Discs over to Qi and wait a bit to obtain the necessary item.
Once you have access to a refiner, you can begin upgrading various clothing items. Headwear, tops, bottoms, shoes, and suits can be optimized with several upgrades. You’ll just need to collect the required materials to start the process. Most pieces necessitate Lapis Lazuli, Quartz, or Opal to increase quality and improve your stats. Affixes can range anywhere from upping Endurance to mitigating damage taken in combat.
