Is Jedi Survivor Five Years After Jedi Fallen Order?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the highly anticipated follow-up to Jedi: Fallen Order, is nearly here. Fans of Cal Kestis and his crew are excited to see where their journey will take them next. Still, just how long has passed between these two titles?
We know that Jedi: Survivor is a sequel, but it doesn’t take place immediately after the end of Jedi: Fallen Order. However, the developers have given us some idea of where the story will take place, and how long it has been since we last saw Cal and the crew. This guide will tell you when Jedi: Survivor takes place, and what the situation was when we last left these characters.
When Does Jedi: Survivor Take Place Relative to Jedi: Fallen Order?
Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after Jedi: Fallen Order.
At the end of Fallen Order, Cal and his crew had completed their primary objective. They had collected a Holocron containing a list of force-sensitive children in the universe, making them potential candidates for future Jedi. Originally he had planned to find these children and raise them, in a bid to revive the Jedi Order.

However, Cal understood the danger the Holocron presented to these children. Vader had been thwarted, but he knew of the holocron’s existence, and would surely persecute these children just as he did the rest of the Jedi. As such, Cal destroyed the Holocron, protecting the children, but leaving the narrative open-ended.
We don’t know what the crew has been up to in the five years after this event, but they are all still traveling together. Vader is aware of the group’s existence, and having been bested by them will more than likely be pushing for their capture. While we don’t know the narrative just yet, it’s sure to be even more action-packed than the first.
