Farpoint And Playstation VR Images: CES 2017

Sony was all in with PlayStation VR at CES 2017 to the point where they did not have the usual console gaming stations that had been a regular part of past CES shows. As part of their coverage, Skewed and Reviewed have posted some images from their coverage.

I really want to know when we can expect this game. I was hoping to have a more concrete release date by now as I want that Aim Controller so bad.

Garethvk2704d ago

They said soon when I asked but would not give me a firm date. That is a sweet setup though.

I demoed this at PSX with the Aim controller. It was really awesome. I am very much looking forward to it. Controls felt great, picking up items was an interesting take, also swapping between the assault rifle and shotgun was cool implementation.

I waited in line to play and you get the luck of the draw so I ended up having to sit and watch the concert. At PAX West I got Rigs and a staff member played it. He liked it but said walking the ledge disoriented him when things attacked his feet.

@Garethvk I agree about the ledge. Heights have never agree with me to much, but at least I didn't experience any motion sickness while using the navigation stick to move about on the Aim controller.

Garethvk2704d ago

That is key, I am not bothered by motion sickness but did get some on a few times when I used the Oculus. Not so much with the Vive and none with PS VR although Rigs can be a bit disorienting until you get used to it.
