Last week you celebrated the birthday of the PS4. The first anniversary of the Xbox One is a little more difficult to pinpoint, as it happened across several countries in the same day.
Technically, the first ones to celebrate the birthday would be living in Australia and New Zealand, about ten hours ago. Right now Xbox One is blowing on the candles in central Europe, in one hour celebrations will move to the UK, and in six hours they’ll finally reach the eastern shores of North America.
Given the wide spread, DualShockers decided to celebrate pretty much in the middle, on Central European Time, which means now.
Wardens Rising is looking like a promising new take on the ARPG genre, especially when played with friends.
"The Bristol-based (the UK) indie games publisher Auroch Digital and indie games developer Positech Games, today announced with great happiness and thrill that their hit-political title "Democracy 4: Console Edition", is coming to consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores on June 5th, 2024." - Jonas Ek, TGG.

Xbox has done amazing this year.
I'm pretty pleased I have 4 instead of 1.
Got mine at launch. passed by lecister square, when the launch party was going on, as I was in the area( Im a west londoner, through and through! lol). But I already pre ordered my day one edition from GAME to be delivered. so I didnt, que.
PX-ed it towards the COD 1TB edition, SSO and my TB stealth 500Xs and got the tingles all over again. No regrets about that. I love FM5,BF4 and AC:blackflag, so it was a good day one/first month for me. COD:Ghosts was horrible. But titanfall gave me the quality all new FPS, that I was lusting for. super time force, max:curse of brotherhood, were excellent freebies aswell, over the summer. And here we are now, with FH2, SSO and halo..month after month of update and over a hundred new features. And I cant escape the feeling that this console is going to be even better in the years to come.
I think my 5 favorite moments have been:
- Doing an ultra combo as Orchid (KI)
- Taking down a titan for the first time (Titanfall)
- Survivng a night defense in style (Sunset Overdrive)
- Mowing down zombies with a flamethrower/steam roller (Dead Rising 3)
- Beat all alternate stages (Volgarr the Viking)
But there have been a lot of others would could have made my top 5. I have loved my X1 and look forward to good times in the future as well. 2015/2016 looks good so far with the games they have in work.
My top 5 highlights
-Phil Spencer
-Removal of the Kinect
-Free games
-Forza Horizon 2
-Halo: MCC
