Why We’re Gamers

Dustin was recently asked by a co-worker why he plays video games as much as he does. Dustin really couldn’t give them much of an answer. he's been playing them for so long that he never gave it much thought as to why. It was just natural to him, always has been. But then he got to thinking about it and he realized his answer later the same week.

I'm a gamer because it helps me escape from world's everyday problems. It makes me forget about them. Games makes me happy. Also games help me express myself and release all anger if I've got a bad day. Also I play games because I enjoy them.

Video games is one of the most wonderful hobbies, if I could call it as hobby. Actually is something more than hobby. When I was young I was playing vg because I liked them, now I need them, after a hard day for example is relaxing to go home and playing...

Oh man....exactly this. It's a part of my life style. A BIG part. I'm sure now that you feel the same way

I came home from school at the age of 5 to find an Atari 2600 hooked up to my family's 13 inch television one day. Little did my mother know that she had just introduced me to what would become my obsession for the next 30+ years.

I play because the game is there.
