No Games November - PS4's Lineup Is Starting to Look Silly

Push Square: "No new system launch would be complete without barbed comments about the quality of the box’s lineup. It’s something that both the PlayStation 3 and Vita have gone through, as well as rival formats such as the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. We’ve always felt that the PlayStation 4 has been unfairly treated in this instance, as rarely a week has passed without some kind of noteworthy release. And as the system sizes up a stunning 2015 with exclusives such as The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, we reckon that this Christmas isn’t looking too shabby either."

They're complaining about too many games, in case anyone decided not to click the article.

As some of you may already know:

LBP3
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
GTA5
Far Cry 4
Project Cars
COD: Advanced Warfare
AC: Unity
The Crew
Dragon Age: Inquisition

There's no complaining in the article. 'Silly' in the conext of 'ridiculous', 'crazy', 'bonkers'. Perhaps that's a British thing? Anyway, it seems the headline was misjudged, so I'll take the feedback on board and learn from that.

Hopefully some of you still get something out of the article.

Thanks for looking all the same! :D

GarrusVakarian3512d ago

Yeah, it is a British thing :) I say silly in that context all the time.

What's silly is this so-called opinion piece. So i'm not reading one word of it!

Well... not a single game in Q4 is really THAAAAT great tbh, at least in my eyes.

2014 is a shitty year for games. Don't deny it.

FullmetalRoyale3512d ago (Edited 3512d ago )

Dragon Age: Inquisition is my most anticipated game of the year, bar none. I cannot think of a game that I actually want more, in general, right now. I have been wanting a meaty RPG on my PS4, and I think it looks fantastic. But of course that is subjective so I cannot say that you are "wrong", only that I disagree. It certainly has been the year of delays, to be sure. But the one game that I personally wanted to see stay in 2014 the most, stayed, so it is lucky for me.

Plus there are several other games I will be getting.

SSJBen3512d ago

Wouldn't say your anticipation is wrong either. But after what DA2 did to leave bad after taste, I don't really care for the DA series anymore.

medman3512d ago (Edited 3512d ago )

@ssjben
I wouldn't say 2014 has been a crap year...more like an average year...but 2015 is going to make up for it big time, so I'm ok with it. My list of most anticipated for 2015 reads like this so far...
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, The Division, The Order:1886, MGSV, The Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, No Man's Sky, Below, Star Wars: Battlefront, Rime, Wild, The Tomorrow Children, Until Dawn, Alienation, Hellblade, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, The Wittness.... I mean it's looking phenomenal.

SSJBen3512d ago

Comparing to 2013? Yeah, it's been quite bad.

Clown_Syndr0me3512d ago

So many games I want on both consoles. Going to have to prioritise as I can only buy 2 or 3. The rest I'll have to decide what to rent and what to ask my other half for for Christmas!
