DayZ still has two years of development ahead

agreed - nobody will care - by the time this releases, someone else will have made a better game than dayz. I guess the devs think the world will be held in stasis until they're finished.

I would not say they are exactly alike. lets say state of decay is like the baby brother of day Z. Day Z punishes you for being not careful enough. Its brutally realistic in most every way at least its trying to be. State of Decay simulates the survival aspects in a really simple and easy way.

i think the MAIN difference is that state of decay is a single player game. without the multiplayer side of dayz it would be nothing

Meanwhile, Breaking Point, an Arma 3 mod is further along in development than DayZ. That's quality development right there, Brian.

They NEED vehicles in dayz RIGHT NOW! I honestly don't care if anyone doesn't agree with me. But right now, it's sooooo boring having to walk EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME!

That and the fact servers with only 40 people aren't enough. Increase it to 150 so their are more encounters.

Treat this game like 'The Last Guardian'.. it'll be out when it's out, otherwise enjoy the early access or play a more polished/finished game. If I have to make a guess, it's likely to be sold off to another company before it gets finished anyways.

so i guess H1Z1 will be hitting Playstation earlier than DayZ. I'm personally excited for both, but we shall see.
