PS4 1.75 Update Coming Soon

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe just announced on Twitter that another update is soon coming bringing 3D blu ray.

Rachel_Alucard3564d ago

I don't get the joke with posting that song on every comment he makes

Blacksand13563d ago

They need to fix the movie Downloads every time i try to watch a movie it cut off and freezing

TheWackyMan3564d ago

I bought my PS4 a few days ago, and when I found out that I couldn't even pause my downloads I was really disappointed. ;_; Having fun with infamous though (and Battlefield 4, god forbid)

HugoDrax3564d ago

Got my platinum for Second Son two days ago, hadn't played it in about 5 or so months. Picked it up over the weekend and ran through my Evil/Expert play through. Looking forward to the Fetch DLC.

medman3564d ago

Glad you got a ps4 and are enjoying it, but if you frequent a site like n4g how did you not know more about the console/updates before you bought it? Not griefing you, but curious how you didn't know.

ShinMaster3564d ago (Edited 3564d ago )

Wow, you're easily disappointed.

Godmars2903564d ago

That's - suppose to be - 1.8.

aragon3564d ago

Too many insiders lol

I'm pretty sure this is a fake account. Sony never blurts out what the next firmware update will have on twitter

iagainsti1203564d ago

With over 10.7k tweets I don't think so.

Future_20153564d ago

finally wtf took so long for 3d blu ray support, had to use my old ps3 every time to watch 3d films

Baccra173563d ago

Rather have video codec and MP3 support.

Bobby Kotex3563d ago

Who gives a crap? How about a Youtube app and all the other missing features from the PS3.

Nice cant wait to see the bag of goodies. This update will come with.

*Crossing fingers* for EXT:HDD support

Eonjay3564d ago

Is it wrong to want it all? I want Folders, Notifications, Full personal media support including mp3, dnla streaming and access to play from cloud clients in the way that One Cloud supports. Full Keyboard and mouse support for browser and flash.

Themes and an means to produce them using a simple template. Pausable downloads.

A built in PSOne and PS2 emulator for disc based media.
AUDIO CD support.
Google+ sharing and Drive cloud support.

Do we have video chat like PS3? Put that in there as well.

And... for Majin-vegeta, I would like to requesr external HDD support.

combatcash3564d ago

Honestly if they just add DLNA i will be completely satisfied, it was a big let down that it wasn't part of the ps4. I don't blame sony I should have researched it further, I just assumed since the ps3 had it then the ps4 should as well.

TheFanboySlayer3563d ago

All of this would make my life

BitbyDeath3564d ago

Probably won't include much more since it ends in a 5 and not a 0.

Maybe they'll announce a bigger one at Gamescom.

kingtroy3564d ago

3D bluray people been complain about that but how many have 3d blurays or 3d tv. That like asking for 4k support which no one really has yet.

jdktech20103564d ago

I've got it and would love to be able to watch some of the 3d blurays again.

But thanks for saying you're more important.

I hope you get something you're looking for in the ps4 features soon.

jackanderson19853564d ago

I'm in no way defending his comment as 3d should be supported but 3d is a niche market and thus must be lower on sonys radar

2pacalypsenow3564d ago

I use my PS3 to watch 3d blu rays son no biggie for me

yezz3564d ago

3D is very common in modern TVs.. 4k TVs have just come out so they're much rarer.

I don't use 3D that often myself because it's just not good enough at the moment but I'm glad that the support for it is finally coming. This is something you'd expect Sony product to have...

Skate-AK3564d ago

I have 3D BluRays and a 3D TV. It's pretty common actually.

CPTN MITCHELL3564d ago

I have a 55inch samsung 3d and I play my blu-ray on 3d all the time on the ps4 and the play and look amazing

CPTN MITCHELL3564d ago (Edited 3564d ago )

And I also have my ps3

TheFanboySlayer3563d ago

I have a 3d tv lol never use it tho...would be nice I guess

Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster Review – An Epic Tale Of Pixelated Portrayals

Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.

If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.

The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
