Netflix is already doing Basic, Standard, and Premium so you're not far off.

Too many services being subscribed at one time at increased prices, all adds up. Better off purchasing games individually that I want off of sales like from Steam. Even at 300+ games in my library, barely have time for more than 2 or 3 a week. Learned that the hard way over time.

I've been watching the Swedish News Channel since this news broke, and so far there hasn't been any coverage of the riots. I am quite certain that Microsoft have bribed the channel.

Netflix produces at least 2-3 shows per year and at least 1 or 2 becomes one of the top shows like Stranger Things, House of Cards and defenders, punishers and many many more, what about Gamepass? Netflix only hijacked the price once, at least for North America

Idk where this is all going but MS wanted an all digital gaming ecosystem with always online drm.. Theyre still working toward that goal. Im just curious how many people are going to give in.. As soon as they get all digital they can start jacking up the prices as much as they want. I don't know why people so willingly support it. Even now you can see how much cheaper physical games are than digital, it should be obvious that when it's all digital that prices will skyrocket.

It is a big deal.

First off, all these companies know not every one of their customers is going to take advantage of their reward programs. If they did, it would either take MUCH more to get game pass free or it wouldn't even be a thing.

Second, when you start saying "so what it's only a tiny x.xx amount more, companies start testing you" by periodically raising the price in small doses because you already showed them you'll excuse and accept it.

The service isn't even a year old yet and they're increasing the price in a market they're already having a hard time selling their product in.

There's an old saying- if you give an inch, they'll take a mile.

Even at $15 it'd be a pretty competitive price. While the service isn't for me, being only $10 it is a pretty good value if it has content one wants, and if I were interested in the service, I wouldn't scoff at $15.

Sadly, i think people will use the initial price to discredit what the likely price will be in the future, which will probably cap out at $15 for quite a while. That seems to be a comfortable price for a lot of services for most customers.

I see the current price as something introductory. Just a form of marketing to get people hooked and talking about the service. It's nothing new, and completely appropriate for something such as this.

The fact that all currencies are different is exactly why it IS a big deal. Because now you have in theory (and fact) some customers paying one price and another paying more or less for the same exact service. Then you combine that with the fact that the product is already struggling to sell on pace with their competitors in the region, it becomes easy to see the issue with a price increase. Because nothing says increased sales for a struggling product better than a price increase right? (sarcasm)

But since you say it's no big deal, you go and tell that to the people in the EU that are getting charged more for a service that Microsoft is already having a hard time selling to them. See what kind of answers you get.

Agree about MS Rewards. I don’t plan on ever paying a dollar for Game Pass. Wrote a little C# program to do bing searches every day. Racking up 400 points a day without even trying.

I don't know what the fuss is all about on here, If this was an increase all over the world, then i would understand, but all this is doing is making the prices equal all over the world. I had no idea parts of Europe were getting it cheaper than the rest of us.

In Sweden it originally cost 79 SEK, that is about £6.50 for me in the uk, almost £1.50 cheaper.

So in the same breath that Microsoft is self congratulating themselves with PR talk about how great things are going with Xbox and without saying it "all the money Xbox is making". They are already gonna up the price of the Game Pass? Wow. IMO, repeat IMO they should put some games worth playing on GP before thinking about a price hike for the rental program. Then again if they wanna put some AAA multiplats on the rental service someone's going to have to pay and Microsoft is saying it's gonna be its gamers. From what I can see looking from the outside in at the services that Xbox has to offer it don't look so good..........again, IMO. Each to his/her own and if GAAS and a list of rental programs is your thing then good on'ya you mush be happy with Xbox.
