Dropped the ball again, MS.

Considering the console is already selling at a substatial lost, adding a game on top of it would only hurt more.

Bigpappy2375d ago

What is the sense of having bundles is the stock of the system is already low. They need to replenish the supply and maybe offer some deals after the holidays.

They launched with a “bundle”...
The issue is, the biggest sellers are sponsored by Sony.
So instead of a “bundle”, they have get a free game of you purchase an xbone x.
The same deal they have done every winter

TechnoGoat2374d ago

It's adorable that you bought the whole "SOLD OUT WORLDWIDE" line..

the console is not selling at a loss. everyone misunderstood their comment from a few months back. they just meant that the console is not where their major profit is.

gangsta_red2374d ago

I think it has more to do with adding on to the already high 500 dollar price tag.

It's amazing enough the system is selling well but I wouldn't push the price any higher even if a game or two were added.

Gunstar752374d ago

Who says it is selling at a loss?

joab7772374d ago

This is insane to me! This is a launch at Xmas. Crazy

RosweeSon2374d ago

Apart from new Forza what could they even bundle in anyway they got no new X games due out until the new year no doubt.
Crackdown 3 bundle 🙄😂✌🏻

mcstorm2373d ago

I love it when people move the goal posts who gives a shit about power looks ect buy the games you like like others do what they like. I own a switch and and X because they offer me more type of games I like to play than sony/Xbox or sony/Nintendo offer. People like different things get over it.

Well of course not it just came out. I don’t believe PS4 Pro had any better bundles last year either. Not even Nintendo looks to be having any official Black Friday Switch bundles

SpaceRanger2375d ago

Pro had some free games come with it from some sellers. Even one Best Buy deal with a TV last year (buddy of mine got that one around Black Friday). And switch already has bundles.

It's a shame the 1X won't even have at least a AA game bundled with it like Cuphead or Recore. Haven't seen any from other sellers either.

PhoenixUp2375d ago

If PS4 Pro had any Black Friday deals last year they weren’t very official or as widespread. Any deals you did see were on a store by store basis.

I can’t find any $300 Black Friday Switch bundles. Any bundles I do see are more expensive and seem like standard holiday bundles.

ABizzel12375d ago

Switch Bundle is at Target, but it doesn't list exactly what's included in the bundle.

Max-Zorin2375d ago

Fire the whole Xbox division. Xbox need a huge revamp. Nothing but new faces.

Hypercharge Unboxed Dev Saddened By Claims It'll Be 'Dead' Without Xbox Game Pass

One of the big Xbox releases heading our way in May 2024 is the long-awaited Hypercharge Unboxed, which is finally bringing its "first and third-person shooter action figure game" to Xbox consoles on Friday, May 31st.

Sadly, ahead of launch, the game's official Twitter (or "X") account has been highlighting the "trolls" who are claiming that because it's not launching on Game Pass, Hypercharge Unboxed is already set up for failure on Xbox.

helicoptergirl9h ago

It's horrible what people will say, but the truth might be harsh. There is a good chance it might not do well on Xbox if it's not on GamePass. There is a strong possibility that is the case. We'll see.

When it launches on Playstation in the future you can rest assured it will sell much better. The devs have confirmed it's coming to Playstation in the future.

"It is built in the Unreal Engine 4. The game was released on the Nintendo eShop on January 31, 2020 and on Steam on April 27, 2020. The development of Hypercharge: Unboxed for the Xbox platform was officially announced on July 16, 2022, with the developers also confirming future support for the PlayStation."

I remember having this on my radar years ago for the Switch but never pulled the trigger on it. Crazy it's still not on PlayStation yet.

Epic Games Faces $1.2 Million Fine Over "Unfair Practices," Plans to Fight Back

Epic Games is facing a $1.2 million fine by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets over "unfair practices" in the Fortnite shop.

Sciurus_vulgaris15h ago

It might be cheaper to simply pay the fine. Fighting said fine could cost millions due to court and lawyer fees. Fortnite generates well over a 100 million in each month, so Epic has plenty of cash.

franwex7h ago(Edited 7h ago)

But if they did pay it, then they are basically admitting that they did something they weren’t supposed to be doing. If they fight it, they may win and continue to have a sense of urgency for their micro transactions thus making more money long term.

Goodguy016m ago(Edited 4m ago)

Meaning more suits to follow from others if they don't fight as well.

Not a fan of Epic nor fortnite and their micro transactions. But the game is heavily supported and is free to play, all store items are completely cosmetic.

Furesis2h ago

I'd fight back too. These are kinda meaningless reasons to fine someone like really for THAT. It's like they just wanted to make money or something.

Yeaaa... no. It's cool to say that you got it running as a bragging right, but this is completely unusable. I like how he hits the screen while trying to type! X'D

I mean it always start like this. Ubuntu was the same, started with just being able to load the GUI, now people can play classic PC titles like Fable and Warcraft 3 as well as emulate GC, Wii, 3DS and PS2 on their Switch. With Windows things are definitely harder because Windows on Arm is pretty garbo, but who knows in a couple of years.
