Recently at a Wizard Comic Con in Nashville, long time Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy was asked about the possibility of there being future games from the Arkham franchise.

Having interviewed Conroy a couple of times, he is hardly in a position to say this. He is a hired voice actor, he does not even always know what the next animated film he will be taking part in is, so for him to say never is a bold statement. He can say I am not contracted for more, or I have not heard of plans for more, but that does not mean more will not come. They may even opt to use someone else.

"Kevin, are there plans for a Tell Tale Batman game?"
"Definitely not."

I really liked Troy Baker's version of Batman/Bruce Wayne in TT's game. But I could see Rocksteady moving on from the Arkham series and into another version of Batman. Perhaps Batman Beyond? The Arkham series was too popular to just bury it.

He said there won't be another sequel in the Arkham series, and he might be right. But who is to say that he's not working on a new game with Batman as the protagonist.

SarcasticDuck2419d ago

F it, Troy Baker just makes both Batman and Joker! (sarcasm ladies, I prefer Conroy and Hamill as well!)

CyrusLemont2419d ago

I remember him leaking that Batman Arkham Knight was being made when Batman Arkham Origins was announced because he thought that it was his game they were referring to when being questioned. I wonder if he's just practicing denial now because he got in a lot of trouble haha.

Maybe you should interview him again and lie! "So Conroy the new Arkham game has been announced and looks absolutely stunning, can you speak a little to your role this time round?"

Then see what he says lol

Rocksteady Superman, then Justice League games wouldn't surprise me.

PhoenixUp2419d ago

Let some other DC character headline a game

Sciurus_vulgaris2419d ago

There is no need for another Arkham game. Arkham Knight, brought good closure to the series. However, I wouldn't mind, Rocksteady, "taking a crack", at a Green Lantern, or dare I say Superman game.

nevin12419d ago

" or dare I say Superman game."

How can you really make a game out of the Superman universe?

Who ever pulls that off should get goat award or bigger.

Sciurus_vulgaris2419d ago

Yah, I too personally see a Superman game, being very difficult to make.

strayanalog2419d ago

I kind of doubt it, but if so, they quit while they were ahead on a high note.

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
"I'm sure I deserve a lot of criticism, but I don't think my team or companies deserve all the criticism. I could take a lot of that blame myself. But ultimately I need to believe in the mission," he said.

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.

FinalBoss5d ago

I was hesitant to put these two on. I've personally played more PSO than the RPG version. And shame on me, I don't remember much about Shining Force to talk about it properly.

That said, so many Sega licences deserve their place in this list.

jznrpg2d ago

A new Phantasy Star in the numbered series would be amazing. Shining Force too. But I’d settle on some collections as that’s probably the best we will get

anast5d ago

I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.

shining force.

but indont see that happening unfortunately.
