My achievement tracking isnt working right half the time, some games still do it while others dont. The achievements still pop on the games its not tracking but its just not showing any progress on them. It started a couple of months ago when achievements started popping on my W10 system (while having the Xbox app on) but they werent popping/showing on the X1 at the same time. Anybody know how to fix this or anything about it?

does the same to me, and i have no ideea why you got downvoted for asking a question. For me it does show after 20 minutes or so, or after i restart it, or just log out and back again. It might be the internet, mine isn't all that fast

The idea is good.. The way its implemented makes me wonder who engineered this thing? It's over kill for the most part. I think we all can agree that when one presses the guide button it feels like forever before the damn game takes us to the UI. Plus the ESRAM being so slow makes the UI unresponsive AF too!!!

Where does it focus on having your games right there where you want them? Not a massive useless main window, a way to small right section, a lot of useless banners underneath, and then your pinned games at the very bottom, like they would be the least important thing on that box. Really?

And what's with the useless tabs. Why isn't there a full screen (second tab) with your complete games library?

Oh, and what's with the left side scroll menu, which all of a sudden changes the whole navigation pattern to something completely different? I don't know where MS is hiring their UI designers...can't follow simple design rules.

Why is the store so dog slow? Why can't MS have standard icon sizes? Why is there not all information on screen (like requires game X to run because it is actually an ADD ON!!!).

Why does it take sometimes 2 seconds pressing the X button to show the dashboard.

Why is there only one download stream? And why the hell does it stop when I play a game?

Why, why, why...is this supposed to be the Best UI???

Never waited 5 minutes here. Press the home button, goes almost instantly to the UI with no issue. Press it again, and it pops right back to the game, with no hesitation.

The Xbox UI, for almost every task, there is a delay while it loads. It's not as bad as some of the people above make it out to be, but it certainly isn't instantaneous, maybe a couple seconds for most routine tasks, and on occasion, there is a bit of loading which seems to take more time than it should. Certainly isn't as fast as MS showed it off as at the reveal.

So your downvotes are because you're talking sh*t, not because you're saying something good about Xbox.

nah, i got all consoles, and i must say best one is Ps4, because it is just so damn fast, and the games are easy to access, and now you can put them all in folders. I do like the xbox one UI, just wish it'd be a tad bit faster, maybe it will happen with the next upgrade.

I think in all honesty SB was all smoke and mirrors. Probably had to remove A LOT of features from it to keep the FPS stable.

The fps was never stable. You could see from Platinum's output that Scalebound was sucking up a lot of their resources. The game definitely existed, it was just in dev hell.

If MS hadnt pushed for co-op and a W10 port it probably would be out.

Windows on PC has been hit or miss with the UI. They struck a good balance with Win10, but still seems more complex than it needs to be for some things. But at least it's better than that forced Metro crap they tried to implement.

MS has a bad habit of doing what they think is best, instead of actually figuring out what it is that is useful for the user. Xbox isn't too bad for a UI. But it is cluttered and not as intuitive as PS4, although Sony had to make some changes to get it to that point.

So, it's a conspiracy from Japan now? Nothing is preventing MS from going and trying to get that Japan support. I'd even encourage it if I thought their hearts were in it, and they'd do it for the long term, and for more than just the big titles that come from Japan, which they'll likely get ports of anyhow. Of course, I'm labelled a hater, so why would MS listen to me? If their diehard fans aren't asking for it, why should they bother?

If American devs would only release on Xbox, we'd see a lot more studios closing down. There's a reason they support PS, and it's because there is a market for it. For the Japanese, there isn't much market for the whole country to actually make it's games for. That isn't Japans fault. It's the fault of MS for not pursuing more support, and for the userbase not caring enough to give it enough support to make it worthwhile.....which itself is MS fault because they don't cater to that market, so there is no market for it.

So, what does Sony do to get that support? If it's so easy, why doesn't MS do it? I'm sure, as a gamer, you'd like to have more software to choose from. Been asking you to pressure MS to have more motivationi for a while now, but looks like you just want to continue making excuses and being happy with what MS decides to give you.

Is Microsoft going to get the console Ui correct this time? It's horrible compared to the ps4. I always get lost in the store when trying to find demos, or my games with gold titles (I use the website more of the time to add them to my account).

The ps4 home screen and store are basic, but they work. They need to stop trying to innovate the home screen and just keep it simple. (just my opinion).
