This game is looking extra promising.

thekhurg3022d ago

Yep, but I still have strong doubts that controller using people can keep up with keyboard and mouse.

S2Killinit3022d ago (Edited 3022d ago )

good point, we shall see. maybe the Epic really has taken that into account, somehow.

"Paragon will feature keyboard & mouse support on PlayStation 4, but Epic swears that using controller will be just as good for competitive game-play."

HammadTheBeast3022d ago

I'll have to disagree, it's not exactly a shooter in that you can win based off of precision aiming, yes, it will help, but movement and MOBA skill will be bigger deciding factors over aiming better.

But who knows, we haven't seen much of the game in action, you may be right.

thekhurg3022d ago

@hammad

If nothing else, keyboard & mouse will afford better map awareness with their ability to turn much faster with higher precision, while controller users wait for analog stick movement.

They're just going to be at a disadvantage, even if it doesn't involve direct shooting mechanics.

wish we had more PC/PS4 cross play games like this, keep them coming!

kaiserfranz3022d ago

Indeed, it's great to have a bigger community. PC/PS4 and PC/XB1 CrossPlay is only getting more popular

NovaCorps3022d ago (Edited 3022d ago )

PC/PS4 yes
not xb1-pc but you wish

Kingdomcome2473021d ago (Edited 3021d ago )

@Nova- Yeah... because KI, Fable Legends, Gigantic, etc... aren't all recently announced crossplay Win10/XboxOne exclusives. OT: From what little I've tried of MOBAS (Smite), I didn't care for the style of play, but Paragon looks fantastic. I signed up for the PS4 Alpha, and desperately want in.

_-EDMIX-_3021d ago

@Novacorps agreed, which is a shame consider MS place in the market. They need to see to it that their future titles are default that if they want to earn that respect back in the PC market.

Sfv is also ps4/pc im hype

jchaplin23022d ago

Can't wait to play this game!!

Imp0ssibl33022d ago

I think I'm going to cave in and get the paid Early Access, the hype is just too much. Finally a MOBA with nice graphics!

Chris_Wray3022d ago

A slower pace wont necessarily be a bad thing. I'm a PC gamer but I'm not a fan of MOBAs, they can be too cliquey and I simply cannot be bothered going through the process of learning it/them/whichever while people go on about how much of a "noob" i am (it's newb!). The best MOBA I've ever played was the original DOTA because Warcraft 3 just wasn't that fast.

Or maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

pompombrum3022d ago (Edited 3022d ago )

I hear ya, the only MOBA I enjoy is HOTS and trying to learn a new character and doing badly only to having to deal with abusive chat messages constantly is really frustrating when you're a noob. Getting told to go play pokemon (which is ironic considering how strategic mp matches are) or just flat out told to uninstall the game is demoralising. I don't understand how anyone can put up with such a toxic people while trying to learn a new game.

kaiserfranz3022d ago

I wholeheartedly agree about the toxic community. That's why nowadays I just play casually and possibly with friends.

Gaming has to be fun and relaxing, not yet another stress inducing factor.
