Naughty Dog Comments on Uncharted 4’s Single-Player DLC; Will Take a Lot From ‘Left Behind’

Sam is going to have a big part in Uncharted 4 no doubt so I'd rather they focused on established characters.

Elena, Sully, Chloe, Cutter

Really would like to see some DLC with Elena, maybe after she got Drake aboard the train in Uncharted 2 or even when she got him on the plane in Uncharted 3. Enemies were right behind her so there could be a short story to tell. Maybe rely on stealth more then gun play...she's no Drake

Or maybe one with Sully, like in Uncharted 3 when Drake went on his rampage after drinking the water in the fountain.

Little things like that you can make a short story from. Filling in the gaps.

IMO Elena is the least interesting character out of the bunch. We know the rest all have stories that can be told of their pasts but other than being a reporter Elena really doesn't do much that calls for a dlc story.

Like I was saying in above what about between games

After Elena got Drake aboard the train in Uncharted 2 until she met with him again in the Tibeten mountains. Enemaies were in pursuit of them and there was only one road back for her...the way she came. Car breaks down, enemies are looking for her etc

After she got Drake aboard the plane in Uncharted 3. Same thing, alarms are going off in airport, enemies are shooting at them, she's left behind. Doubt they would just let her go

A smaller adventure when she's with Drake after Drakes Fortune, maybe showing the strain of their relationship. Why they broke up the first time

Another event similar after Among Thieves, how nearly getting killed impacted her and how her next smaller adventure, maybe set after her wedding, she might have seen Drake nearly get killed. Something which puts another strain on them. Her nearly getting killed and then him...it would be understandable why she was turned off treasure hunting as found in Uncharted 3.

I think there's plenty you can do with Elena and it would fill in the gaps. I mean she's with Nathan Drake, trouble finds him and she would be dragged into it. Hell I could imagine their wedding not going that smoothly, maybe people who Drake owes tries to shoot the place up for revenge.

Imagine that, a shoot up during their wedding where you play Elena in her wedding dress calling Drake worse then shit as they try to escape. Would be kind of funny. You could also explain that's how she knows Cutter...he helped them out

utilizing dlc to branch off the story is a very good way to go. that way it's not really part of the main story and allows them to take different directions.

If they do any, it will surely be within the events of UC4, so from what we've seen so far Drakes Brother or Sully seem the most likely playable characters, if not Drake himself.

I wouldn't mind dlc where you played as the bad guys, trying to chase down the elusive Drake and crew...I also wouldn't mind some young Sully dlc, to see the type of rogue he was in his younger days and some of his legendary capers.

i will buy whatever single player dlc there is. I find it odd that more games don't offer single player dlc. Like GTA5 was made for single player dlc

Still waiting while the milk GTA Online, something that really needs to be separate for GTA6. Something you can download separately for free long after the new game comes out.

Rockstar have a shit load of money and GTA sells so making a studio for the online would be easy for them.

Oh God, don't even expect a GTA 6. Instead we'll probably get GTA Online 2.

It's sad that we never got to see a story DLC for GTA V, especially considering how Rockstar makes some of the best story DLC's.

So much wasted potential. I guess it's easy to get greedy when you can milk an assembly line of shark cards through half-assed GTA Online updates.

Anyways, I'm hoping they let us play as Chloe in Uncharted 4's SP DLC. As you can see by my avatar, Chloe is my favorite character. Yes, you can play as Chloe in Uncharted 3 and Uncharted 2's multiplayer but I can't get enough of Chloe lol. Either way I'm going to buy the DLC though

I disagree with the practice of removing story content from the main narrative to sell as dlc. However, Left Behind shows how it should be done. It enriches and expands upon the original events, yet if it were included in the initial release it would have disrupted the pacing.

Getting it later allowed us to play it and get more appreciation for what Ellie went through to keep Joel safe, reinforcing what we knew about the bond they developed.

After Left Behind, I trust Neil and Bruce with this Dlc.
