Forbes:
There’s a particular statistic I’ve been thinking about recently. We first heard it earlier in the month, in a presentation from Fallout 4 lead producer Jeff Gardner, who said that he’d been playing the game for “400+” hours, and he still hadn’t seen everything there was to see. It’s a staggering number, one of those ultra-inflated ideas that might as well be 100 more or 100 less and it still wouldn’t really compute. People used to more constrained experiences might wonder: how could a game possibly have that much content? But those familiar with Bethesda games might have a sightly clearer idea of what that stat means. And I wonder: is 400 hours enough?
We were expecting problems with mod support, but there are a lot of other issues.
Not accidental, they want modders to stop modding their older games to force them to mod Shitfield.
Over 14 GBs and doesn't change much at all? What? Taking up that much drive space for a pathetic 'remastering' is shameful.
Par for Bethesda.
LOL people are actually expecting massive improvements or something? From Bethesda?? the same people who released Skyrim multiple times and the all look like shit? THAT Bethesda? are people for real?
The ps5 version doesn't change a ton but from my small playtime it's enough to make me want to replay it just to have it running at 60.
A side note to this my PS4 version no longer boots after it's "update" so I guess that's what it feels like to own a Bethesda game on PC
Bethesda Customer Support Manager confirmed they're looking into Fallout 4 not being offered to those who redeemed via PlayStation Plus for free.
Even though I claimed the PS Plus version, I still have my physical GOTY PS4 edition and was able to get my PS5 upgrade a little earlier today. Physical media FTW lol. Hopefully it won't be too long before the PS Plus owners also get to upgrade their copies.
I expect this and also no releasing on next ps console. Pretty simple. Please don't be suprise
The Fallout 4 next-gen update is now live, bringing with it improved performance and visuals, as well as brand-new exclusive content. This new update brings the latest single-player entry in the series up to modern standards, with it also marking an official PS5 release of Fallout 4.
"Fallout 4 - Is 400+ Hours Too Much Gameplay?"
"Fallout 4' Has 400+ Hours Of Gameplay, But Is That Enough?"
Too many articles about this statement. All i can say is that 400 hours is intimidating for some but for others who likes their games to be huge, its awesome.
I made a little calculation. If you can play 7 hours a day, it will take you almost 58 days to complete, maybe even more.
If you can play for 7 hours a week, it will take you a staggering 1 year and 2 months to finish so yeah, it will take you a long time.
For me, Fallout 4 and MGSV will probably last me a year, maybe even more and thats a good thing. 2015 is such an awesome year.
And to answer that question in my opinion...
Nope, its not. Next Question...
the average player will barely get 30 hours of gameplay out of it let alone 100+. There are simply too many games to play for me to invest that much time into one. .
Never cared about any of the other games in the series, but F4 story looks interesting and I want to play it straight forward without any side quest crap to deal with, so if the storytelling missions are easy to get to then I'm definitely playing it, if not my game time will be used elsewhere.
Well finally you can say you get your money worth for a video game.
Oh, shut up, Forbes. Jesus Christ.
