Are You Buying Final Fantasy Type-0 Just To Play The Final Fantasy 15 Demo ?

Nope, I am buying Type-O cuz I haven't played a decent JRPG in awhile and this one with the mature setting and real-time combat has appeal to me.

There's no way I would spend $60 just to play a demo. In fact, I hardly ever pay full price for a new game as I usually wait a while after its released in order for the price to drop. That's how I justify my video game purchases to the boss :)

I am very interested in playing Type-0 as I've never played it before but always heard good things about it. I was going to wait until the price dropped on this one as well but if I hear more really good things from the average gamers about the demo I might just have to splurge on this one while the demo is still available.

I agree with you. Paying for $40 strictly on a demo is not a smart move. If there are people who are willing to do this then they have no rights to complain about the Order 1886 being a 6-8 hour $60 game.

Thanks for letting me know. I didnt know that it will retail for $60. Actually that's kind of expensive for a remake of a PSP game. The FFX/FFX-2 remaster came with two games and it only cost $40. How?

I'm buying type-0 for the game and the demo helped me want it more. You can't put the order 1886 and type-o on the same level. Also the order was a good game, it just left me wanting more and should have been downloadable content not the PlayStation store

yeah but the point of having it on vita is that I can play it on the go, and put it on standby whenever I want and so on.
And I don't have a contract for my phone with wich I could connect my Vita with so I can do all that via remote play :D

Would have got Type-0 day one regardless of whether the FFXV demo was included or not, but the demo is a huge bonus that I'll enjoy spending time on.

EDIT: I guess a lot of Japanese gamers will be purchasing it for the demo though. Afterall I guess the majority that wanted to play Type-0 already have done, seeing as it was released in Japan 4 years ago. FFXV has also been in Famitsus most wanted chart for almost a decade so I'm sure that many are eager to try it out after all this time.

I've waited almost a decade to play FFXV so yeah I am...but the more I see of Type-0 the more I want to play through it.

Keep in mind this is a massive demo weighing in at almost 6 gigs...that says a lot. If I play it as much as I played Ground Zeroes then it would be worth the purchase by itself in my opinion.

I remember buying zone of the enders for the metal gear solid 2 demo. Zone was OK but, man did I play the crap out of that demo. Did the same thing with tonal no 1 with the FF7 demo and brave fencer musashi with FF8 demo. I like this methods. It's a cherry on top.

I got type-0 for thw amazing story it seems to have :D. alot of new chars and i just love the final fantasy series. I also got it with FF15 demo in mind. I been waiting years for this and im sure with all these screenshots and videos square enix is shooting out i see ff15 coming out late this year :D

I was going to buy it because I've been wanting to play Type 0 since it was released on the PSP. I'm also dying to experience FFXV for myself... but Bloodborne comes out a week later. I figured I'll skip Type 0 until I've gone through my backlog and I'll just wait until the full FFXV is released. Can't afford to blow money on a game that I won't play for a while and a three hour dempo. My hard earned cash will buy Bloodborne day one though and that will keep me busy until The Witcher III.or longer. Need to conserve cash these days.

What about people not getting it at all? After watching the early streams, the game was clearly designed for handhelds, with very small areas, limited interactions, awkward combat, graphics visibly designed with the limitations of handhelds in mind. I would have gotten it, if only SE weren't such lazybums, and tried to put some real work into the port.

It's ok to not like it , but you do realize that it's one of the most graphically enhanced remaster released so far (with handful of titles like also FFX/X2)?

The models from the PSP version's cutscenes were literally used in the HD remaster to gain higher quality visuals . Short of remaking the whole Halo master chef edition style , nothing else could be done . And there is an obvious jump between those custscenes models and the original psp graphics

There is nothing lazy at all about this HD port , best remaster ever hands down. It ll be my 1st Final Fantasy on the ps4 and it is awsome.

I don't really know what type-0 is, or what distinguishes it from a normal FF entry. I assumed it was just because it was initially a portable release and they didn't want to upset series fans.

Don't care at all about the 15 demo. I'll play that when it is released. If I plan to buy a game I won't touch a demo or beta before it releases, or even watch videos. Ruins the excitement of discover and the flow of the experience imo.

It's its own game . It could very not even be called a final fantasy actually and mostly share tenuous and trivia FF elements like some of the bestiary ... and a tiny link to some stuff from FXIII as it was supposed to be a shared universe of sort .

Then again each FF game could be its own thing , if not at least from a few gameplay elements they share with each other on top of the bestiary and nods

I had my hands on FF Type 0 HD today , best HD remaster ever : looks VERY VERY good and feels like 120 FPS .
Never seen a fluidity like this on a consol , can't stop smilling : Hype !!!
