We're currently in a place with the Playstation Vita where every great game that arrives brings an air of sadness equal to its joys. Each artistic success is a reminder of how much of a portable paradise the system can be with even the most basic amount of love and attention. In the case of Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, we get to see the traditional turn-based role-playing game get a serious injection of innovation that fewer and fewer developers are attempting to bring in favor of desolate open worlds and unworthy side missions.
It’s that time of the month again folks. The time where gamers collectively gather all over the internet to criticize what free games they get this month. So, who plundered the other's fanboys for all their self-worth and gratification in life? Who was the victor in July? Let's take a look.
VGChartz's Karl Koebke: "It’s easy to look down on the Vita given its small install base, but like most under-performing gaming platforms there are actually a surprisingly large number of fun, unique experiences to be had on the Vita. This year Sony's handheld received, amongst other things, a rhythm game based off of an RPG, a time-travelling visual novel, and a time management RPG that spanned multiple generations - quite the eclectic assortment. With any luck, the PlayStation Vita still has a few more years like this left in it."
Amazon has updated its list of discounted PS4, PS3 and Vita digital game codes. The new highlights include Dragon Ball Xenoverse (PS3/PS4) being discounted to $20.00, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls to $23.99 and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines to $10.00.
