Good lord what a terrible attempt at pretending you're technical.

OC_MurphysLaw3393d ago

Looked at who the article is from....no doubt they are spinning another tale from a job listing. I do my best to avoid their stuff of late.

Volkama3393d ago (Edited 3393d ago )

It's not just that. The article itself tries oh-so hard to sound smart, but it is barely "coherent".

Unfortunately you'd have to read it understand what I've done there, and I can't recommend you bother. You are precisely right about it being based off a job listing.

Ashlen3393d ago

Seriously, gaming bolt is so full of it, they always write these type of articles using some type of techno jargon and/or taking quotes out of context.

It's so blatant there motivation, take even the tiniest most trivial bit of information and spin it and trump it up to make Xbox look better, even in the "Sony" articles they write always have a slant that tries to downplay everything and one up it with something from Microsoft.

During the last election the popular thing to do was for cooperations and wealthy donors to make a bunch of "grassroots" looking sites run buy a small group of people to fool people, but that were funded entirely by the for-mentioned groups secretly by proxie.

I have often wondered if gamingbolt and a handful of other sites that just constantly trump up MS are the same type of deal.

Volkama3393d ago

GamingBolt don't promote MS or Sony more than the other. They are also the ones responsible for 99% of the "x indie likes amazing 8GB GDDR!" spam too.

Their goal is always to create headlines on whatever draws in the fanboys. ESRAM/GDDR, 1080p, Weak CPU, Cloud, DirectX 12. From there the tone of the article can go either way, whatever they think will get the biggest reaction.

Ashlen3393d ago (Edited 3393d ago )

Your probably right of course, that is the more rational and logical answer, but still....

Edited: Actually no, (for clicks or not) I still think they are totally biased. And I still wouldn't be surprised if a large part of there funding in some way comes from Microsoft. Like Polygon who presents itself as neutral but their actions dictate otherwise.

Pogmathoin3393d ago

Gamingbolt does not favour PS or MS, its just a junk site, its people here that do the promoting/downplaying.....

MeliMel3393d ago

You seem like a bitter fanboy its obvious you are the one who doesn't like Xbox and are trying to start something.

chrish19903393d ago

Not to mention the lack of crediting other sites. Really pisses me off to see my own work passed off as somebody elses, you would think after doing this for so long they would have some sort of standards.

Ps4andxb13393d ago

Take everything you've just said.

Swap MS with Sony and Gamingbolt with N4G and you'd be somewhat more accurate.

i basically said the same thing but on their site

3-4-53393d ago

* Somebody needs to make a site that is just a list of all the other trash sites that make crap up.

* It would be all facts though....those sites couldn't deny their lying....there would be multiple pieces of evidence against them via their own postings, articles and everything else on their website.

They would have to argue against themselves and either way they would look bad.

* just a thought though.....

nitus103393d ago

I think the words "techno babel" comes to mind or better yet "WTF".

I think the only saving grace? to the whole article was the following. "Will Microsoft narrow down the gap even further in 2015? This is something that remains to be seen."

Basically "waffle, waffle, waffle" and now to cover my backside.

Sigh!!

I don't see anything that verifies it it Xbox related. M$ has several hardware products.

christocolus3393d ago (Edited 3393d ago )

lol..its quite easy to tell when an article is from gamingbolt or dualshockers. one loves to interview devs about 1080p, esram, system specs and hardware matters in general while the other focuses on job listings, twitter posts, sales and uses words like eye popping, awesome, spectacular, breathtaking and amazing to headline its articles.

OC_MurphysLaw3393d ago

Bravo...100% support this comment.

Scottyxboxoneandps43393d ago

@ Bigpappy
It specifically says in the job listing link that it's part of the XBOX development team. Just thought I'd point that out.

Bigpappy3393d ago

When I click on the "job listing" link, it opens to a blank page for me. May be my popup or active x blocker. But I am referring to the article and what they choose to quote.

smoothop3393d ago

MS are really starting to head in the right direction, sometimes it takes the odd mistake to learn and start improving things. Both Sony and MS have had their ups and downs but I think we can clearly see they are making a real effort to provide us gamers with a great experience.

Ryan7413393d ago

Xbox one keeps going forward......while others sit on their hands.

Nekroo913393d ago

Yap they keep going forward towards the clouds thats for sure /s

aerisbueller3393d ago (Edited 3393d ago )

'XBox one keeps trying to play catchup......while others sit on their throne.'

there, fixed it for you.

All console manufacturers continually try to improve their SDKs, usually silently. It's only when MS does it that fanboy articles pop up, because they prey on fanboys waiting with baited breath for MS to do something miraculous to negate the gulf of power between their hardware and their competitor's.

I think MS has been doing great on all fronts ever since Phil and Satya came along, but I seriously can't believe there are still fanboys thinking some magical thing will happen to make the hardware catch up. This despite Phil making so many efforts to be candid about managing expectations. Must be embarrassing for the sane XBox fans.
