"Dan Hay, Executive Producer at Ubisoft talks about some of his favorite features and moment in developing Far Cry 4 and even addresses the question about resolution parity."
Far Cry debuted on March 23, 2004, meaning that next week, it will have been 20 years since Jack Carver first washed up on the shore of a tropical paradise teeming with hostile mercenaries.
I'd love a far cry pack with the original PC game (not the half assed port on ps360) instincts, predator even a port of far cry 2 to modern consoles back when these games had their own identity and weren't far cry 3 cut and pastel
India is a culturally rich and beautiful land which is a perfect setting for a video game. Here are some of the best games set in India.
Since the first game was released in 2004, Far Cry has set the standard on fantastic open-world shooters.
I would put 5 above 6 but agree with the other ratings. Though 6 has more refined gameplay compared to 5 it's lack of a compelling story really does hurt it imo but if you are a gameplay fiend and don't really care about story it makes sense.
This whole resolution thing has to be sorted out sooner rather than later. Don't hold the technology back I say. If my TV can output a picture in color, no amount of spin will convince me why I have to watch my movies in black and white.
PC can output a much higher resolution than concoles, so develop the PC games for 1440 resolution or whatever. Push the technology to it's limits, don't gimp it because of the lowest denominator. If the Wii U can only handle 720p, then let the Wii U version be 720p - don't gimp all the version just because of the weakest link (I know it's not announced for Wii U, but you get my point).
Forget parity - I didn't buy a next-gen console so that I would have parity with last gen consoles FFS!!!
"We're gunna get the most that we can out of each box."
Bravo Dan Haye! Bravo!
This game is very high on my buy list.
Multiplayer / Editor news? Anyone? A few short weeks before release and we know elephants.
